I don't know, man. UT is bad...real bad.
So was Auburn last year in the best season we've ever had...and Lattimore was healthy. Unfortunately so was Garcia.
If ND wins out they're in over anyone.
I cannot factor any Garcia game into my evaluation of this team. It's just a completely different team with Shaw at the helm. I just don't see us dropping a game to this UT team at home.

Transitive Property says:
USC beat UGA: 35-7
UGA beat UT: 51-44
Thus USC beats UT - a lot to not very much.
Exactly, undefeated SEC champ and undefeated ND would meet
If Ohio State runs the table the BCS champ is going to have an asterisk.
Not that it would matter for Bama since the majority of their "championships" need a lengthy explanation anyway.
Whats your problem? It was a legit question in a thread about that exact subject.

If you want the ultimate, you've got to be willing to pay the ultimate price. It's not tragic to die doing what you love.
Going undefeated in the Big 10 is nothing earth shattering these days.
i thought we'd lose 4/5 games this year. Changing my prediction to 2 L's and BCS bowl game..Do feel better about how we match up with OU and USC though..
Michigan and Michigan St. are better wins than Tennessee, both those teams would beat UT. I don't think that LSU win is going to look so good later in the year. The wheels are coming off and injuries and suspensions have gutted LSU..When a 3 year stareted, Alex Hurst, quits the team you are in trouble, especially when the starting LT is out for the year..I hope i'm wrong but i see LSU losing 4/5 games this year...A&M win will look much better later in the year..
if anyone doubts this they have no clue,,Don't see us going undefeated though Stanford and USC could trip us up. Not as worried about OU as i was before the season started, but still a tough game in Norman sure they'd like to add a W to their 1-8 record against us..
lulz, an undefeated big 10 wouldn't even get in over an undefeated acc team this year.
We will learn about LSU on Saturday after the USCe game. if its a good close game win or lose i say they only def lose to Bama but id give them the nod over A&M and they should still probly win the rest. If USCe comes out and beats LSU pretty good and pushes em around like we did and if LSU can't move the ball at all (like they couldn't against us after their first drive) then they will lose to Bama, A&M, and possibly Miss ST.
I think they would be good games between Tenn and either Michigan team. But the point is all of them are 2 loss teams and are not as talented as they used to be and are having disappointing seasons.
Yeah I could really see how that would piss them off royally.
If we do that we might as well retroactively give Boise a title for 07-08
I'm not doubting anything, I just don't fully understand why undefeated ND makes it in over undefeated OR... From a schedule standpoint anyway. Oregon will have played 7 ranked teams (assuming ASU is ranked after this weekend and including the championship game) to ND's 5. They also both play Stanford and SC so there would be a common opponent element. Would it basically be a media/fan base size decision?
South Carolina Gamecocks. The 2010 National College Baseball Champs.
Yep, the major networks would kill to have ND in the BCS title game..
You guys played central Arkansas and Tennessee tech. That hurts when it comes down to it.
Also, ND is ND. It is what it is.
there is your asterisk
Didn't this happen in 2010 and AU's mighty D held Oregon's O to like season low totals? I might be mistaken but we have this discussion every year. Great defenses take ball games over and win championships. Bama's did it in 2009 against Texas (sack and fumble when they needed it) AU in 2010, and shall I remind everyone about the 50 yard line problem LSU had in 2011?
Great Defenses win championships.
That's what I posted about earlier. 2008, 2009, and 2010 was high powered offenses versus stout defenses. In the 2008 BCS champ game, UF went up against an Oklahoma team that was putting up 60 points a game. In the pregame interviews, an OU player even said "we put up 60 points on everyone else...why can't we do it on the Gators too?". Sealed his fate by saying that.
