Xbox is better though I have both.
Well now you've gone and done it...
But seriously, IMO, the 360 won the current generation while the PS2 won the prior. Initial outlook to me says Sony will reclaim the title this upcoming generation, but there's still a lot to learn and see.
I dunno, the PS3 put up a good fight besides the initial launch problems and the absurdly high price tag in the beginning.
The PS3 crashes far less often that I know of (mine has never crashed while I've gone through 3 360s), has a Blu-Ray player, had some amazing exclusive titles (MGS4, Uncharted 2, The Last of Us, and MLB the Show to name a few), and had free online play.
I have both consoles and like them both, but I dunno if I would say 360 won this generation's battle.
Also can't wait to pick up this game.

It was close, especially at the end of both life cycles, but IMO, the 360 ended up being the victor for the generation, even if only by a slim margin.
Not sure what you're using for your criteria, but having both.... PS3 kicks the crap out of 360.
Sales, especially in the first 5 years (out of 7) of the generation, preferred usage by groups such as MLG (though they'll be switching to PS3s potentially for FPS for the first time this upcoming season), things like that. We could argue all day about console vs. console from a strictly hardware/software standpoint, but I think taking the entire landscape of gaming into account for this last generation, the 360 won out.
This. He thinks he was the only one with both i guess. my 360 broke 5 times, tricked me into thinking kinect would be worth a purchase and made me pay for online. Ps3 hands down has been better for me this generation and had more games I liked on it.
I will not be getting a xbox this time around..at least not right at launch
I will find me a ps3 for this game!
I'm not concerned with what sells the most.
PS3 is more reliable, has a built in Blu-Ray player, and has better hardware.
But that has to be taken into account when looking at the generation as a whole. What you prefer is just that, what you prefer.
PS3 and 360 sales are pretty darn close and 360 had a head start, but I think (don't quote me) that 360 has a higher attach rate.
Having both I disagree, but to each his own.
You're right... I prefer the console that performs better overall, as opposed to the cheaper one that sells more and also has a history of breaking down.
ill redbox it for the single player that should be awesome
the multiplayer looks way too much like uncharted which i always thought was garbage basically a lame/awkward gears of war

My 360S hasn't broken down once.
