Unfortunately at my school that really means softball and golf season.
Baseball at Bama has gone from 6 CWS appearences in 9 years to 0 in 11 years, IIRC. Although we should be good this year.
Have to admit though, I do like softball now. Faster game and more exciting, IMO.
You guys always have a few solid teams, my point was that SEC is easier to navigate for a dominant team than it would be for a B1G team.
You see that sign that says 'Rib Tips'??
Definitely right now. There's 4 or 5 possible final 4 teams in the B1G this season. Maybe 1 in the SEC.
The problem still is in the format. It's harder for a team to navigate 6 wins that it is for a team to go 11or12-1 then win an additional game. JMHO
I like me some softball, no doubt. Better looking players than baseball, but my school doesn't have it.
Rifle is a big deal this time of the year for us. Most aren't even aware of the sport, but we're ranked #1 and looking to extend the record for NCAA rifle championships to 15 next weekend. Kentucky is the best from your neck of the woods @ #3 with Ole Miss @ #11. The Buckeyes are #15, tops for B1G schools that participate.
Yep. One of our rifle team alumni shot an Olympic record and won Gold at last year's London Olympics. Too bad he was representing Italy.

How is everyone?
That's one way to look at it. It is definitely easier in football if you are #1 or #2 at the end, but in basketball you can be the 4th or 5th best team in your conference and lose one third of your games and still have a chance. Some might say that's easier. Lose a third of your games in football and you're 8-4 and looking at a pre-New Year's Day bowl game.
One's easier on the back end and one easier on the front end.
Doing good. Has Shoe been over on the Tennessee site any?
I watched that lol
Havent checked, he's stopped in here once or twice
I have to plan my day around that shyt. Traffic can get brutal out here, we're talking 2-3 hour commute and the most I'll have have to travel is 30 miles.
I'm guessing coverage switched to rifle between basketball games.
Lunardi has Alabama in the first 4 out.
If Alabama makes the tournament, this would have to be the worst year in the history of college basketball.
It's even more depressing when you consider that we are only a game out of first in the SEC.
atlanta traffic is pretty damn bad - i have to leave my house at 6:30 am to make it to my office by 9
My 13 1/2 mile morning commute is 17 minutes from driveway to parking lot. Damn stop lights!
When they're done with my new house I'm going to have a 30 mile commute, about 40mins each way
