USC is in the worst part of LA huh? News to my ears.
Should probably shut the place down and move into a forest so people feel safe.
Maybe then we will attract some real scholars *crosses fingers*
i live in baltimore city, what kind of activities are you looking for? and what days of the week will you be going out? plenty of great bars in fells point, federal hill, and canton. Daytime the harbor has the science center and the aquarium as well as a ripleys. You'll enjoy yourself a lot more than you'd probably think. Stick to those areas and powerplant and you'll be 100% safe
Pic Sigs are for losers.
Thanks hot sauce! Good stuff there. I'm taking some notes. For those saying "don't go"...we're going anyway to visit friends. I'm not really all that afraid of cities with reputations, but I'm not running thru the hood with a swastika pasted to my forehead either.
It'll be a fairly short trip. Getting there Wed AM and leaving Sat midday. (march 13-16 I think)
Someone mentioned Little Italy earlier. My wife is an Italian food lover, so that sounds interesting. Little Italy in Tuscaloosa consists of a guy named Antonio and his aunt (Yes, I made this up...we have a hard time getting much legit Italian food around here unless you want to go to 1 restaurant every time)
Little italy is a 5 dollar cab ride from the harbor. Harbor east also has a great coal oven pizza restaurant named Chazz which is run by Chazz palmenteri. He shows up often. Have fun and do the touristy stuff like that this time, most people decide to come back and try and explore the different neighborhoods. It really is a Charm (ing) city despite having some really shitty sections
I agree, Chicago is a beautiful city great food, great night life, great sports I only visited the NorthSide of Chicago...the Southside is one of the most violence places in America and Chicago women were ugly...no offense i mean maybe that's how all Midwest women are but just ugghh
Why don't you guys just meet at in a safer place like Oakland??
Baltimore is pretty safe if you arent dealing drugs and dont act like a toughass.
B-more might be ok, Honkylips, but that kind of fun is best reserved for E. St. Louis, IMO
Wonder how many upvotes I'd get if I did that and posted video here?
Seriously...I'm not skeerd of the hood, but I'm not a racist and I don't have a death wish. Only point was that I wouldn't plan on being abrasive in a strange city.
My bad. You're right. South Central is a really nice and safe part of LA. I stand corrected. I guess they can tell the armed security guards who partol the campus to quit. And then they can remove the wall that protects the campus from the surrounding neighborhood. Lol. You're the first person I've seen to try and say that SC is in a good area.
And you're right. Nobody should want to enjoy the most beautiful part of the country(Pacific Northwest). Damn hippies with their mountains and trees and lakes and dunes. Who likes stuff like that? I'd much rather live in Lala land where all the spoiled, rich, self entitled kids of Orange County are protected from the Crips, Bloods and Sorenos by a wall and armed security guards.
Baltimore is fun. My friend lived there for a while. Visited twice, had a blast both times. Every city has bad neighborhoods. If you have even the slightest bit of street sense you should be fine. B\
Not guilty y'all got to feel me
Nice "vacation" reference
You know I like you kid but what the fvck would you know about any bar scene? You can't even drink legally.
I've lived here for most of my life, have siblings and friends who are in their 20's and know where to go. Nothing that I posted is any insider information on the Baltimore party scene. Those are just the biggest places that anyone over 12 would know.
So first you talk about how SC is so shitty because its in south central and then in the very next sentence brag about a shithole like Baltimore? Brilliant Dickens. Almost as good as you bitching about BMore's stereotypes then dropping the biggest cliches on LA you can.
I never said that SC was in a nice hood, but it's not very dangerous and there are probably a thousand more dangerous neighborhoods in LA than U park.
Big Bear is close enough to get a real education in the city and hit the forest whenever we want
