Not just Buckeye fans.
Lots of domers, and Sparty fans are butthurt as well.
Butthurt? [roflamo] We're making fun of the hypocrisy of your coach. How is that butthurt? I find it hilarious.
How is it hypocritical? Did he get his offer pulled for visiting or not?
I'd say you are dumb more so than Hoke is hypocritical, but what do I know?
Just because you are incapable of understanding Hoke's policy doesn't make it hypocritical.

Haha Hoke has big time egg on his face. It started with Conley. Now Dawson? That policy is completely irrelevant now. Call it what you what but it's egg. Egg, all over that face.
Kid who is committed to UCLA visiting this week. Not hypocritical at all.
No he's not.
Why would Domers be butthurt? Haven't seen 1 comment anywhere from a Domer about this kid. Fight on B1G
3 time POTW
Not this kid, but about Hoke's visit policy.
Every program has the same policy. Hoke just tweeks it a little. If a kid gives you a commitment, then decides he wants to visit other schools, I'm sure every program would feel they need to start looking for a replacement. Hoke just puts it out their in the media for all to know. If your program isn't out looking to possibly fill the spot of someone out 'visiting', then shame on them.
Actually no, Michigan pulls their offer.
If you hadn't noticed, Dawson was without an offer from Michigan for a long time. He might have eventually "earned" it back, but he certainly wasn't able to commit even yesterday.
Conley still has an offer.
Dawson and Brown lied to the coaches and lost their offer. Brown committed to Oregon. Dawson has realized his mistake and had a romantic heart-to-heart with Hoke and got his offer back.
You only get your offer pulled if you go on visits behind the coachs' backs. If you're upfront about it, you're fine.
But they're dropped from the class
Judging by the number of UM fans who rushed to the RCMB, I'd say that it's the UM fans that are butthurt.
I don't care if people think the policy is dumb, I just get annoyed when they don't know what the actual policy is.
Almost every post I read from a *ichigan fan lately reeks of desperation.
Wow! I've heard of Buckeyes who can read, but I've never actually met one. Cool.
I rest my case.
Clearly we need some type of decision tree for Buckeye fans to figure out this relatively simple policy.
If a commit is upfront with coaches and wants to take a visit, he is no longer considered a commit but will keep his scholarship offer. Basically, the coaches tell the commit that if you visit we will start recruiting your spot. When you decide that you want to recommit, your spot may or may not be available.
If you get sneaky and try to go behind coaches' backs, you will have your offered pulled. That is what happened to Dawson.
For whatever reason, mostly because Dawson has been trying to get back in the good graces of Michigan's coaches since he didn't like his Florida visit, Michigan re-extended their offer to Dawson. However, they have also offered a number of other OL and one of them could very well commit before Dawson, in which case he will be left out.
Not sure what is so hard to figure out. Then again, I am not a product of the Ohio education system.
Still trying to figure out how ND factors into your post - did you Freudian slip???
and which one of my posts was incorrect? I perfectly understand it, just find it hypocritical that your coach plays hardball with his recruits and demands virtue to the value of a committment, while recruiting kids committted elsewhere. Please point to my post that shows that I don't understand Hoke's policy...I'll wait.
Lol please explain this so called butthurt? We just beat you with the worst team were likely to have in the near future, by now you have probably realized that Hoke is in over his head at least when compared to Meyer, and were probably going to end up with a better recruiting class. Maybe a more appropriate title would be "ITT we talk about how butthurt we wish OSU fans are, in an attempt to make us feel better about our current situation and the future of our program." I know this was brought on by the Dawson fiasco, which I could care less about, he is a good player who was never coming to OSU anyhow. Everyone on these boards are fooling themselves if they think any kids are 100 commited before the ink dries.

It seems to me that even the UM fans' understanding of the policy is constantly changing to fit their narrative.
