Thinking about getting a specialty sub at Publix for lunch today. Seems like a lot of people do this that I know but don't use the regular sub menu. They seem to make any sub you want with whatever meat/cheese they have in store. So let me know what your goto is.
Can't go wrong with the ultimate! Although the most popular is probly the chicken tender sub
Chicken Tender sub with the chicken tossed in their buffalo sauce. cheddar cheese and on white bread.
12 inch lap hog - Wheat - Ultimate Boar's head - Spicy brown mustard - Chipolte Mayo - Double Aged Boar's head swiss - lettuce - pickles - banana peppers - a dash of oil/vin
ps: you're a SOB for having this thread at 10am
I know right. Now I have to get a Publix sub today. Gonna be a long two hours.
Buffalo chicken tender sub
Salt and pepper
This but with provolone cheese, then add lettuce tomato salt & pepper and ranch

Wait... Publix can toast it?
Someone told me I need to call ahead so I'm not that A hole everyone is waiting on. That true?
This sounds really good right now...
They toast mine every time
I've never called ahead.
Also want to know more about toasting?
They dont toast it, they press it. You can do so in a Honey Butter or Regular Butter.
Philly Cheese Steak
The Ultimate (Roast Beef, Turkey, and Ham)
The Italian (couple of Italian Hams and Salami)
Chicken Tender Sub (Buffalo Sauce )
BTW you use any specific type of wheat bread or just the stuff they have up there?
Never had their philly.
Sounds good though.
So does every just use the meat and cheese they have behind the counter or is there specific type/brand of meat and cheese people suggest?
The ultimate is the hands down best. Let them lather that white bread baby with mayo on both sides, some swiss cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, banana peppers, oil and vinegar, salt and pepper. Got dayam. I'm getting a food boner just thinking about it.
just what they have - i've never customized their bread - not entirely sure its an option, but i've never asked.
You can get Boars Head or Publix brand. Publix being the cheaper of the two. They have yellow and white american, swiss, and provolone. Im sure you can get any meat cheese combo you want.

Oh got ya. Buddy was saying he basically will make them cut the Salsalito Turkey.
Youre in a poor area if your publix cant toast subs. A press? Bush league imo
Not guilty y'all got to feel me
basically - if you're not hitting them up in mid lunch rush they will cut and price any meat you want on your sandwich. is this the case at all publix's? not sure. but the one by me does this.
Good God - are we related?
