who gets the Silver and Bronze?
I can't even think of anyone? Maybe Canada?
Steve Spurrier is a God, and Mark Richt worships him
Alabama would win gold
that's funny I don't care who you are.
I don't even know if they play football, but I'll say Russia. Seriously what other countries play football!?
The best rugby teams probably.
I'm gonna go with Japan.
Australia for silver. China would be good if they could find any linemen. Their skill players would be able to run thru everyones legs unseen.
I think American Samoa would have a pretty solid team. Maybe it wouldn't be the deepest unit, but they have some incredible talent, especially among guys that were born in the US of Samoan descent.
I think Canada would definitely get the Silver now that I think about it. They got the CFL and they do have some players in the NFL as well.
The bronze is a different story. I think the poster who said the Somoans is probably right
But how many of those CFL players are American?
I think I've heard that only about 1/3 of CFL players are from the USA. There are rules in places regarding how many players of Canadian descent each team is required to have and to start.
blaspheme, that's racism!!

"Everyday is a Great day to be a Trojan"
"Unless your the other team"
Canadians are racist.. We should Hiroshima there ass.
"In 2006 rosters increased again to 42 players, 20 non-imports, 19 imports and 3 quarterbacks. The number of designated imports increased to three, meaning a minimum of seven non-import starting positions were required. It should be noted that teams have started more than the minimum of non-imports required, indicating greater Canadian talent than is often recognized."
Frequently Asked Questions about Rosters.
Jamaica would make sone noise. Their squad would be Oregon x1000, speed wise.
Couldnt kick it off to them, or punt it.
Samoa would be legit.
South Africa would win silver
Who would be our starters?
eh, i'm guessing a bunch of CFL guys. Too much risk of injury, NFL guys wouldn't compete, especially not that close to the regular season.
Mixture of LSU and bama players. With Matt Barkly
The Silver and Bronze would have to be between Japan, Canada, American Somoa, Mexico, and Australia.

China would groom some young mutant's to take over the football world. They would start grooming them to play football from birth......oh wait, that's the overzealous U.S.....nevermind, it would be the Canadians. They, at least, have CFL.
I am a huge college football fan, but this thread is exactly why I laugh at any football fan that calls hockey a niche sport.
If you want to say a Niche US market, ok ... but hockey is in the olympics, played worldwide and you can actually have a discussion on who might win in the olympics.
Not to mention hockey players actually get drafted from all over the world ... obviously niche compared to football who you can count on 1 hand the players that got drafted outside of playing in north america each year.
I am a football fan. Hockey is a niche sport
You obviously don't understand the definition of niche.
The SEC doesn't play hockey, nobody cares
