This guy seems credible. He clearly has followed Saban's career very closely.
serious q, who were previously guys at bama who were indefinitely suspended? (i don't remember it happening too much)
non-serious comment, surprised no one has brought up spurrier with stephen garcia. he got indefinitely suspended like 5 times over his career.
No one cares about USCe tho. Everyone is too jelly of Bama to think about that.
The worst thing he did was key a car and get drunk. 5 was a little much though, we should have cut him at 3. Either way, he wasn't robbing people....just being an idiot.
If you want the ultimate, you've got to be willing to pay the ultimate price. It's not tragic to die doing what you love.
You realized the kid was cleared of ALL charges then brought back to suck right..... Right?
Robbie Green is the first to come to my mind. Got busted for marijuana, was suspended for a year, was going to get a second chance, got caught again, out.
I believe I said this in another thread, but if you really, honestly believe that Storm Klein didn't lay a hand on that girl, I've got a bridge in Brooklyn to sell you.
If you are going after Saban indefinitely suspending these four players don't worry.
None of these four players will be on the team for much longer. I'm not sure what the reason for "indefinitely suspending" them is other than maybe wanting to sit down with the kids and kick them off the team before announcing it to the media, but trust me, they gone.
Someone mentioned it may be a legal issue, that they can only be "suspended" until they're declared guilty (which they will be) at which point the AD has the right to break the contract of the scholarship.
I'm not saying that he didn't or not. All I'm saying is that he wasn't charged with a crime, therefore he cannot be guilty, but I am a Steelers fan and Big Ben didn't do what was said he did....
You are missing about a decade of his career between MSU and Bama. I'm pretty sure that he took over a sorry MSU program and improved them every season before going to LSU.
That would make sense. I'm not to worried about it. I think Williams and Pettway would have been awesome players but they have to go. I mean they were riding around in a car, jumping out of it, beating the hell out of students and stealing their backpacks and wallets.
I mean WTF
These kids won't ever even see the football locker room again much less the practice field or game field.
Jeremy Elder is one that comes to mind.
robbie green, jeremy elder, rod woodson, darrington sentimore, there's more.
fact is, all of the ones that were indefinitely suspended ended up kicked out next
10 Major Poll National Titles (CFB record)
35 Bowl Wins (CFB record)
72 Wins over last 6 years (CFB record)
Duron Carter, Brandon Moore ...
Who drew first blood again?????
STFU - You are a MOD - Act like it
1. I didn't draw blood, I stated what I think about when I hear "indefinite suspension." Sorry that the phrase triggers something in my head, I will try to stop that.
2. I am not a mod on this board.
3. I did not do anything to break board rules, so I am not sure why it makes a difference whether I am a mod?
4. If that was an attempt to make a Rudy comparison, "You're an all american and our captain, act like it," then well played.
Just rename The Indoor Football Facility - Holuba Hall to "The Denial Dome"
So you acknowledge I did nothing wrong ITT?
Or is saying "indefinite suspension" makes me think of "Michael Floyd" something crazy that a mod should not do? I have to imagine you wouldn't have given it a second look if any non-PSU mod would have said the exact same thing.
You're actually doggin' Saban 's title of 'elite'??
I think he's proven and underscored that without argument.. This must be an SEC hater..
.. In terrible disguise-
All things fair to the rest of other conferences the SEC aint crap.
Recruits commit to SEC schools and get rating bumps. (Demarcus Walker commits to Bama, earns a fifth star, Decommits, suddenly back to four star.........Anzalone, commits to an SEC school, recieves fifth star.) (Treadwell also received a fifth star when he commited)
SEC teams will never leave the south, all BCS games are in your back yard, advantage to oversigning, unlimited medical hardships and grey shirts. The SEC funds an average of 13 varsity sports, OSU = 34. This is what allows the SEC to pay assistants more. Theres multiple advantages to being in the SEC.
The problem is the B1G is too morally structured. No way our conference stops funding 20 sports, "how would the students feel" is a concern up here. We take pride in this. We dont yank schollies from non-contributors just for being non-contributors.
It's not just me dude, it's almost everyone not from the south.
