Why did he suck so bad in the NFL again?
You mean he got a call from LSU. But why confuse you with facts. Ok, here's today's history lesson. Nick Saban came from the Miami Dolphins to Bama. There you go. Now you can jump on the Miami deal. Because obviously you don't know what elite means. Four BCS championships in the last eight years or so. Nah, you're right. He's not elite yet.
Point is.........take away his advantages and he's just another average coach..........clearly showed when he joined the NFL.........and you're right, I forgot to mention he went from MSU to LSU. Check Tressels record before OSU, Paul Browns before OSU, Meyers before OSU, now check Sabans before LSU.
Clearly, he was never elite before the $EC.
I'm not from the south..
But seriously..morally and Urban ' let all the dope smokers play'- Meyer is a perfect fit for the morally challenged tOSU..
Like I said .. 'All dressed up and nowhere to go'-

What good does a slap on the wrist do before the season starts anyway.?
They all know they'll be reinstated when playin' time starts.!
All of them do it.. Even the superlative 'tide'.
If it's that easy to coach in the SEC, why haven't more coaches at Alabama or LSU won as many national titles?
Also, if you can't recognize that the college game and the NFL are wildly different animals, I don't know what to say. Bill Belichick might be an excellent NFL coach, but that's no guarantee that he'd be a good college coach. The converse applies to Saban.

Coaches are allowed to rape little boys though... You guys certainly have a stranglehold on that title.
You are right about that situation being different. Klein was not only booted and reinstated. He also served an two-game suspension after his resinstatement.
Ohio State linebacker Storm Klein may paly on Saturday after being suspended the first two games of the season. How does head coach Urban Meyer like how hes dealt with the suspension?
Are there any Big 10 schools who yank academic scholarships bc the students are performing and keeping up their end of the deal, or is that allowed? And GTFOff grayshirting. It's legal. You can take your moral nose and keep sticking it up your Big 10 ass.
It's football, not feelingsball. I love Big 10 babies like you. Some schools take engineering seriously. Some schools take their medical school seriously. Some schools take their law school seriously, or nursing, or whatever. Most SEC schools take their football programs seriously.
You don't see us bitching and whining bc you're superior in basketball. Just shut up.
It's also silly to say that Saban couldn't be successful in the NFL. He was there two years, was slightly below .500, and decided he was happier and better cut out for the college game. But to suggest that he couldn't be successful in the NFL is awfully, awfully short-sighted for anyone to say.
Question is if it's so easy to coach in the SEC, why havn't more SEC COACHES won more national titles, not just limited to those two teams.........so lets see.
Meyer.......Saban......Miles......Chizik......just from the past 6 years of my memory, if that doesn't exploit your question I don't know what will.
Valid point about two different leagues, but 90% of the time success follows success.
It's legal.......WHEN THE PLAYERS ARE ACTUALLY HURT
...........heres more for unethical tactics.

Dude, what are you talking about? Grayshirts don't have anything to do with injuries. You can ask a kid to grayshirt for whatever reason. It's always the kid's choice. No one can make you GS. You need to know more about what you're talking about.
I noticed that Tomlinson's coach had this to say, smart guy:
"Alabama was the most truthful school in the recruiting process. They were the most honest. They didn’t pester him and they didn’t bug him. That was one big thing that Dalvin liked about Alabama – that they didn’t downgrade other programs. Coach Saban spoke very highly of other programs, especially Georgia and Georgia Tech. And Dalvin, with the type of character he has, he appreciated that. Alabama didn’t play any games with him.”
Glad the SEC isn't as moral as the B1G...
well don't flame if your house is not clean.......The thread was geared toward a recent situation and because I pissed you off - you pull ish out from two years ago to flame ND.
It's that whole glass house thing...... you seemingly can spew but cannot take it when it pertains to PSU
Saban uses it for injured recruits to give them an extra year to heal so they're not using up schollie space to a definite non-contributor. How can you deny that Saban tactic.
So what? What's the problem? It's a delayed enrollment, that's all a GS is. And you still have 5 to play 4. You just delay the clock ticking. Only a team that gets its ass kicked complains about this. Sometimes it's used for academic reasons.
The bottom line is this: it's a scholarship offer that's on a different timeline - that's all it is, and it's legal. And, the MOST important part: the player has the option to turn it down. If you're an Alabama offer, believe me, you have other options.
It's education first in the B1G............PERIOD. I'm ok with that.
Hey, if we win a NC against an SEC team, that just shows we're twice as good, because football wasn't even our first priority.
Yeah except that won't happen.
Education and NCAA suspensions...
Ask any analyst or 247 staff member which team outside the $EC will challenge Bama for a title............Pick anyone.
ESPN said it.........they're even your b*tch.
I'm sorry we're not in the $EC like you are........so yes if we pay a parent 80,000 for their child we will receive suspensions.

Well that and raping children is your thing. Maybe the $EC can educate you guys on how to get away with paying our players. We will ask you if we need to get away with raping children for years if we decide we want to do that.
I didn't flame anyone. It's not my fault you spit lies and are overly sensitive about some word association. Get a grip.
Here in the B1G, fans have 1 favorite team. Not a whole damn conference we chant for so the big dogs can carry the load for us because we only win our conference once every 20 years OK???
So when you associate a universites faults to another university your comments don't hold water.
