Odd question for the board. Just saw a match.com commercial. Any of y'all done something like that or know someone who did? I've dated the same chick since high school so I'm good, but I want to know if y'all have done it. Seems creepy to me. I'm sure there are some story's here
I had two friends try it.....one hated it and the other one got married
Really? You don't think that's weird.
This is really nice of you looking out for Harry billy.
No I did not lose a sig bet, but I am really really really ridiculously good looking.
Haha I try
Saw that Catfish show the other night on MTV. The girl had been thinking she'd been dating some dude for eight months and went to meet him only to find out it was really a girl posing as a guy. Definitely weird in my eyes.
I met my first wife on Match.com. It didn't exactly end well, but she gave me a beautiful son, andt we were real good together for four years. Actually shouldn't say "first" because I've only been married once.

Personally I think it is extremely weird. I also would never go on a blind date. Either one would be extremely awkward to me.
So... They are happy???
The commercial had them meeting a buch of people some random place
Only reason that I tried it was because I had just moved from Indiana to North Carolina and really didn't know anyone my first couple of months there. I figured what the hell and it worked out well enough for me. I think it would get weirder the older you get unless you have been in a longtime marriage and get up there in age and just don't know how to get back in the game.
I think it makes a lot of sense for recent college grads that move to new states and don't know anyone. Hell even if the relationship doesn't work, you still have a good chance at meeting new people.
Yes. They have a couple of kids now.
I saw on a commercial that they now have "mixers" for the online dating clients. For me this would be more comfortable than just a one on one meeting.
I say we start an account using a picture of Harry and see what we can fish up.
Feed me to the wolves, and I will return leader of the pack. #FreeDA
This could be good and epic
I guess if you are willing to be completely honest, and the one you are talking to online felt the same, you could get a lot deeper quicker. The problem is that for some reason a lot of people feel the need to make up an online persona.....kind of defeats the purpose of online dating IMO.
Are they free sites or do you have to pay for them?
Dude you're asking me? Idk
When the hell are you going to marry your woman? Haven't you two been together for like 8 years or so?
I would figure she would be all over your ass for the ring at this point.
Has to be one with a hat so the girls can't see he's bald.
I can see it now:
A little about me:
"Well, I like long walks on the interstate....."
It's in progress. She graduates in a few weeks. We've talked about it.
We need to put in the bio about how he's aspiring to be a Internet mod. That will really impress the ladies.
