Reports (via the twitters) that Arkansas' AD is very interested in Pelini.
This is hilarious to me on every level possible.
well if its on the twitters
yes. more money, better facilities, better conference, and better recruiting base.
No, no, yes...meh maybe.
Nebraska at its best recruits nationally. Arkansas will never recruit nationally.
On a side note, why the hell would they want Pelini?

How about you can get any kid with the IQ of a handball into Arkansas???
So yes, it makes it the better job...
I dont even want him at IU
mkillian247 on twitter..... I say a lot of stuff you wont care about.
supposedly gundy and patterson are on the top of their list. as far as money, check into who their top boosters are. and better conference is not even debatable.
Arkansas has Walmart.
Nebraska has Corn.
Walmart sells Corn.
Arkansas will end up with an assistant from somewhere. All this talk about hiring good head coaches from other schools is nonsense.
I didn't dispute the conference point.
The difference between the programs and their money is miniscule.
not with the money they are shelling out. where did they get their last head coach from?
Petrino wanted out of ATL.
Arkansas is poor in SEC terms.
MUCH better job, not even a question IMO
"Because Bama now sucks just like FSU used to suck when we were getting dominated by OU. Does it make sense now?"- Sliger (FSU Fan)
It's funny if Arkansas would want Pellini. Would Pellini want Arkansas? Nebraska has a better history; facilities are probably fairly comparable; it's easier to win in the BIG than the SEC.
They will probably end up with Tommy Tuberville. Then TT can go duck hunting (instead of recruiting) even more.
Arkansas will do better than Pillini. Pellini will be fired from Nebraska in 2 years tops

Nebraska has Walmarts. Pelini stays
No. Not at all.
Lol @ some of the people in this thread. So Arkansas is a better job than a blue blood program? Yeah, ok.
There are a lot of programs right now that are better than blue blood programs. Not sure what that has to do with anything at all.
It impacts recruiting. A lot of prospects like programs that have a rich history. You as a Bama fan should know that. Not to mention Nebraska has better facilities, they can recruit nationally (which Arky has never been able to do), and they have a larger an better fanbase.
Hmm a school that has won multiple national titles over some garbage pile school that can't beat a Sun Belt team? You should end it soon.
SEC homers gonna homer.
I don't think it does anymore. I don't think kids these days care who was good 60 years ago. They care about the passion of a fanbase now and how good a chance they have of winning now and getting to the NFL now. LSU and UF are far better jobs than Michigan, Nebraska, etc, now and neither were worth a damn for a very long time. Football has changed and it's only going to change more in the same direction. Location, location, location .
