Good. Continue to hate the South. We love to hear that! Stay up north.
Easy on the people in the north.... I do want you all to remember,
there's no place like New York City, baby. I've been all over the country minus a few stops and there's NOTHING in the world that compares to NYC! Best of EVERYTHING. Even best place to watch a college football game...who do you like? There's a bar for your team in the Big Apple!! :)
Don't be jelly....
Nice try. They are the same parties. Gov George Wallace who stood in the door way of The University of Alabama to keep "Coloreds" from enrolling there was a Democrat. Republicans believe that a man should work for a living and earn his money to do what he/she wishes. The Democrats believe in Government telling people where to live, Housing, and limiting them in what they can buy, Welfare. You have to hand it to the Democrats though, not only have they been able to keep slavery, Welfare and Gov Housing, they also get the race they are keeping down to vote for them at the same time.
Easily the most racist city in the nation.
Exactly. Y'all ever heard of a Dixiecrat? Democrats in the South were the racist Jim Crow party in the 40s and 50s. You cant relate current platforms to those of the past.

Lol no. Not even close to the same parties.

Yup. Our racists grandfathers and great grandfathers were Democrats. I know mine was.
I find the irony in your and Les's post disturbing.

How firm thy friendship ... OHIO!
Really surprised Lincoln is doing well in the theaters. History has shown us that isnt always the case.
Actually I think Boston is probably worse than both.
You guys are insane if you think NYC has that much racism in it. Where do you guys live??? LMAO!!! We have black people that listen to country music, latinos that perform ballet, white people that cook soul food, etc etc etc...
you guys are nuts if you think this isn't the melting pot of the world and the most open-minded. Lemme guess, there's more open minds in Tuscaloosa than NYC...
No I am not.
Yeah they are. The overall world view of both parties is the same now as it has always been. Minus the racial stuff.
Shocking....tell us more of this NYC, you cosmopolitan sophisticate, you
Booth should have shot him in 1861.
Look a Mr. Pedantic over here.
Danielle Hunter, Jamario Rasco, Anthony FREAK Johnson.. DL wrecking crew of 2013.
I see a dictionary has somehow made its way to Louisiana. It will always be a mystery how that would have happened.
And where do you reside that's so eclectic?
Take a couple midol. You'll feel better.
The Brother of Lincoln's Assassin, Edwin Wilks Booth, saved Robert Lincoln (son of the president) from falling to a near certain death on a train. Took place in late 64/early 65 under a year before Lincoln was killed.
Just a Random fact that i find intriguing.

Amongst the debased heathens outside the five boroughs where we breathlessly await reports of a place where "black people that listen to country music, latinos that perform ballet, white people that cook soul food, etc etc etc." from the cultural elite.
Please throw a few more crumbs our way. .
It's not the 70's anymore. It's not even remotely close to the way it used to be back then. Take it from someone whose actually from up here it's really not that bad anymore as long as you stay out of Southie.
Btw do you guys really still call people from the north Yankees?
Uh yeah we do. Is that a problem Yankee?
