I say no .... but some people disagree on our Clemson board disagree with me. Your take?
Does conference affiliation matter to prospects? That depends on the prospect. To Top247 defensive end Andrew Williams of Georgia, its impo

As a conference I say yes, but their top teams are always straight monsters though.
lol no. Bowl games are a vacation for us.
Hey Keith, I wish I could read what you linked.
Well, I can't read what people say over there and I can't post anymore over there bc I stated the truth.
But the SEC is the best right now. The top 6-7 teams can finish in the top 10 while in the ACC, at most only 3 teams can finish in the top 25. The ACC is toast under this new playoff bc if they are not undefeated, they will not make the playoffs period. There conference has 2-3 good teams and the rest are crap teams that would rather play basketball year round.
My son's message to Obama, Clemson, and Georgia

There are 3-4 truly elite programs in the SEC but the depth is what is massively overblown. Kentucky, Missouri, OM, MSU, Vandy, and as of now Arkansas again are all cousins of the poor.
Corey Fravel prolly did it. He is a joke
I am sure. they are trying to protect their 5 members at most from the truth just like Ard and mini me do. That fan base can NOT take the truth or they may jump.
MSU, Vandy, and Arkansas can all be above average. Mizzou and Kentucky just suck.
How are they above average? MAYBE MSU is, but that's about it.
The proof is in the pudding. So what do Clemson fans think of the ACC? How many Titles has that Conference won in the last 30 years? (Pretty sure Miami won all their's while in the Big East)
He said they "Can" be, not they are
Same question still applies. Just in that case substitute Ark with MSU.
Someone needs to ask Vern Lundquist and Gary Danielson. They will give you an unbiased answer
Not biased when it's fact.
SEC is easily the best coference and its really not close, but terms like "SEC defense" is way overplayed.
True, but at the same time, how many other conferences have 3-4 elite programs? None, which is why the SEC is the top conference.
Well, yeah. The SEC being the best conference would only be argued by a troll or retard. I am just saying that sometimes ESPN acts like the conference is murderers row and it's not.
For whatever reason people go straight ignorant when on camera. Announcers can never think for themselves. During the Boston bombing one reporter used the phrase, "He may try to go out in a blaze of glory" and the others repeated that phrase 100 times each. They are all puppets, drones, idiots, something. The few who are witty and can come up with their own lines and objective critiques are RARE>
1) 7 straight BCS national championships and 9 out 15 since its inception.
2) the SEC east had more draft picks out of their side of the division than any other conference
3) 4 of the top 5 spots in the composite recruiting rankings are held down by SEC schools atm
^ how is that not dominant
Only 3 teams really make that conference what it is, the rest are making it a habit to ride the coat tails.
That's why I hate the sec because of that phrase. If espn didn't have so much money invested into the conference this wouldn't be an issue. Jesse Palmer is the worst with that phrase.
I will say this tho. The ACC is getting much better. When Louisville joins and hopefully Miami doesn't get hit hard so they can get better and UNC has the potential to be good. if they didnt have all those guys suspended a couple years ago i think they wouldve won it all that year. we will have a pretty good damn confrence. If we could add Nd full time then we would be right there with the SEC. Fsu, Clemson, ND, Louisville, VT and Miami could play with Bama, USC, LSU, UGA, A&M and UF. Right now the SEC is hands down the best but if those acc teams continue to get better (which they have) then it would be debatable.
I'm glad to see one bad season after 21 wins over two seasons puts Arkansas in the same category as Kentucky.
