From the reports I read in Cleveland Saban already said he don't want to coach there.
Sorry in most people's eyes he will be a great CFB but never on the level of a Belichick, Tom Landry, Bill Walsh, Vince Lombardi. NFL is harder than college.
hub gonna hub....
Different style. Some styles just simply don't work in the NFL and I think his doesn't. Could he be successful in the NFL? Sure he could be but more than likely he won't be.
If that make u sleep better at night
Kite is just upset about auburn being one of the not hot schools in the Hot and Not thread.
Yeah I'm basically just saying I can't believe Greg Schiano got a head coaching gig. I must be missing something.
did Bear Bryant or JoePa ever coach in the NFL ? both are legands & considered by most everyone among the best ever period.
what about Pat Summitt, Coach K.,or John Wooden ?
Bill Walsh a NFL folklore hero was a very mediocre 34-24 in 5 years at Stanford.
Did you seriously just say Rockne??? The guy died over 80 years ago. That was way before the NFL. There wasn't harder competition back then because it didn't exist. Vince Young is a great college football player but not anywhere near one of the best football players. He couldn't do it against the best and the best is the NFL whether it's coaching or players.
Great college coaches but today the best players and coaches are in the NFL. More people care about NFL than the college game. There's more money in the NFL teams.
just get some air and a hobby...bring your ipad with you if you need to...take baby steps, but enjoy life that the great outdoors has to offer. even the buckeye state, although that's a bottom feeder state when it comes to hunting and fishing compared to most.
great coaches are great coaches no matter the level.
Walsh was a sub .500 HC among the the college ranks does it make him a lesser coach ? and former Duke hoopster Bobby Hurley's Dad was one of the greatest coaches ever & im not sure he ever left the High School ranks.
So Rush Propst is on the same level as Bryant and Walsh.... Got it. Great coaches are great coaches no matter the level you say.
compared to which? Some of the biggest Bucks, Turkey , Grouse and Pheasant have come out of Ohio... I was an avid hunter until i moved west...not to mention we have some pretty good fishing...make me a list of better states, wont you?
educate me dood...

how can Bryant & Walsh be considered on the same level ? Bryant never coached in the NFL.
you're wrong, it was pointed out, and now you're reaching. but it's ok really, everyone already knows.
got it ?
I got it. Rush Propst is as good if not better than Belichick as a football coach.
you can just google with your iPad...don't have time. you obviously do.
meechigan for starters blows ohio away...just not part of the buckeye culture.
So are you seriously saying that Bear Bryant or JoePa aren't two of the greatest football coaches ever?
do better Hub.... just do better...
College coaches sure they are.
I asked about "football coaches", not college.
Lots of vacancies in the NFL it seems. Maybe Lions, heading back to MI? Has the best QB, WR option out there.
Great college coaches are not as great as the coaches who coach the professionals

What is happiness? The feeling that power is growing, that resistance is overcome.--Friedrich Wilhelm Nietzsche
Two good coaches that recruited well.
Since when did the NFL become greater than the University of Alabama?
