I cant wait to see this board if or when bammer loses this year. It should be glorius to see considering how much their douchebag fan base flames pretty much every team on here
3 time POTW, member since 2006, MLWTI: 4-3
were they this bad when Mike Shula was the coach?
They were just figuring out how to turn The computer on back then.
1. I wouldn't have started this thread, because honestly it is enough already. As a Bama fan who really cares what others think, if we win out we are in.
2. I think y'all are misunderstanding the point of the thread. I don't think any Bama fan really thinks we have beaten a very good - great team. The point is we are constantly hearing how we haven't beaten anyone, while the same people talk about the big wins ND has. When they have only beaten the same UM team we did, an average MSU team, and a poor Miami team.
1. I hear what you are saying
2. Our wins compared to yours goes in our favor, amirite?
This is exactly what I'm saying. I don't think Bama has played a tough schedule either. I just don't understand why everyone is touting ND as some giant killer. They haven't beaten a single good team yet. And they've struggled with some bad ones.
That's all I'm saying.
you know how the media is with ND, don't you?
we still have work to do but like the direction we are headed in. our offense needs to play with more consistency iyam.
I should have started the thread with that. I really REALLY like where ND is headed. They're much improved. ND of old would be 3-2 right now. The fact that they're winning with defense is equally impressive because you know you have a coach who will eventually get an offense going.
This thread was in no way a shot at ND. They're much improved. I don't think they're the team the sportswriters are making them out to be. But that's not ND's problem.
Looks like another perfect day.
Poor Bama fans can's get over Ara owning their beloved Bear.
Yeah buddy. #1 in the nation, 2 out of the last 3 national titles. And we're worried about something that happened half a century ago...You nailed it.
Then what is it? I was trying to figure it out, why you would have to flame on ND when you are sitting so pretty in the CFB world? That was all I could think of. Until you give me a reason. What then? Why A Bama fan would have to be hating on little old irrelevant ND.
I know your better than that! Some of us douches smell whole lot cleaner, brighter and, well, better than others
Though I will say our wins against lesser foes have looked much more impressive than some of ND's wins against better competition.
ND has a good defense.
But, that's not why they have turned it around, IMO.
Last yr they just really really struggled hanging onto the ball.
This yr they are probably +10, or close to it, in that dept. That is a big time turnaround, and will always turn old losses into new/future wins.
ND just wasn't as bad as people thought they were, last season. Turnovers decides gms a lot.
I wasn't hating on ND, as indicated by my comments just a few posts up. This whole thread has to do with perceived opponent quality vs actual opponent quality. And much less to do with the actual ND team.
ND has played "big names" but has beaten no good teams. Bama hasn't played a great team either. But ND is getting love for their schedule while Bama is getting killed for theirs.

spoke out of anger at that moment
don't take me back to last year and the TO's
Not sure why you quoted me...as I answered the question "no". As in Bama would beat them all by a lot of points. I am just not sure why it matters at all, as neither Bama or ND has played a very good team yet. If your going by the teams they have played, Bama looks way better b/c they are blowing out not good teams, and ND is playing them a lot closer. Why is ND getting more credit for beating the same teams? Its obvious. First, they are ND, and everyone expect them to choke like the last 10 years. Second, you are Bama, and everyone expected you to blow teams out this year.
Both teams will be exposed or proven by the end of the season though.

If you want the ultimate, you've got to be willing to pay the ultimate price. It's not tragic to die doing what you love.
You have definitely played the harder schedule, although it is not like you have played a Florida-like schedule at this point beating the equivalent of A&M and Tenn on the road, and LSU at home.
It sounds arrogant and I'm sure I'll take heat for it but honestly the SOS doesn't mean that much to me because there are only a hand full of teams that can play with us. Much like last year Okie St. had a higher SOS, but you can add all the 7-5 to 9-3 teams to our schedule you want and make it look pretty but it really means nothing because we will likely beat all of those teams by 2-3 touchdowns. Last year the only teams that could make it a game against us were LSU, Okie St., Stanford, Oregon, and Arkansas. Any school that we played other than those really meant nothing because it didn't matter if they were 0-12 or 9-3 we were going to beat them by 21+. I think this year is much the same, although the 5 teams aren't clear yet. JMO, I'm sure many will disagree, and as always flame away.
They don't play any tough teams this year (ezcept maybe the CCG) so I wouldn't get my hopes up.
We have 3 teams remaining on our schedule who currently reside in the top 25. And that doesn't even include @Tennessee.
as a ND fan I'll take one game at a time and see where we end up
