Give Israel the Dakotas. Problem solved.

Lol, it is a myth. Once again, there is no such thing as "peace" between two sides, when one side exists solely for the purpose of purging the other side from existence. The Palestinians have no interest in negotiating with Israel; that's what they say when the West sticks a camera in front of them and they speak in English so they can appeal to the West's sense of decency. When they speak to an exclusively Arab/Muslim audience with no Western ears in the room, their message is entirely different.
As for Hezbollah and Syria and Iran (and others) not having anything to do with this....lol. I'd like to know what ginormous crack pipe you're sucking on if you think they have nothing to do with it. Hezbollah's founding purpose was to drive Israel out of Lebanon. Israel is no longer in Lebanon....yet Hezbollah still exists. Hmm.
Iran and Syria are the two biggest funders, trainers, suppliers and exporters of Islamic terrorism in the entire world, not just the Middle East. Note I said ISLAMIC terrorism, not "Palestinian" terrorism. Hezbollah is a proxy of Shi'ite Iran. Hamas is Sunni. Syria is more or less secular. These are groups that should (and for the most part, do) despise each other. Yet more or less, they always manage to find common ground: their hatred for Israel. You think that hatred will go away if Israel makes concessions, gives up their settlements and withdraws to some arbitrary border? Even if under some deranged fantasy, Israel were to do this and Fatah was to issue a statement saying they accept Israel's concessions and call an end to hostilities, do you have any reason to believe that would be the end of the conflict?
The answer is no. Because there is no "two state solution." There is no peace negotiation to be had. Every group, every country, every sect - Iran, Syria, Hezbollah, Hamas, Fatah, and every other organization you can think of - has the same thing in common: none of them even acknowledge Israel's right to exist.
You think there can be peace when one side doesn't recognize the other?
As for "if you think Israel is innocent," that's a red herring. There hasn't been a conflict in recorded human history where one side is "innocent." The Allies killed people in World War II who were innocent and had nothing to do with Nazi/Fascist ideology. Does that mean the cause the Allies were fighting for was suddenly unjust, and the enemy they were fighting was suddenly legitimized? Absolutely not.
Once again, when the Israelis start shouting on TV for the Palestinians to be exterminated, let me know. When some of the most vile, bloodthirsty rhetoric you can imagine starts coming out of the mouths of Israeli politicians instead of Arab terrorists, give me a heads up.
To be fair, that's not just an Obama problem (and I can't stand Obama). Every US President in the last 33 years has operated under the delusion that they can negotiate with Iran. Obama's laughable attempts to reach out to the mullahs have been more comical than most, but he's just carrying on the tradition. Iran's been at war with the US since the "students" seized the embassy in 1979, and we've yet to elect a President willing to face that reality.
Hezbollah has every right to exist, Lebanon needs some sort of protection from Israel. Just saying, neg away.
"Following are excerpts from an interview with Sheik Bassam Al-Kayed, head of the Palestinian Islamic Scholars Association in Lebanon, which aired on Al-Aqsa TV on February 1, 2012:
Bassam Al-Kayed: The Jew is a satan in human form. Allah inflicted the Jews upon humanity in its entirety, and especially upon the nation of Islam, including the early prophets and the Prophet Muhammad. The Jew is a satan in human form. We could almost say that the satanic jinn take lessons from them.
What they do is very peculiar. It transgresses all boundaries. They attribute no sanctity to anything that is scared, to any treaty or agreement. They violate all the international laws, all the human norms, and all the Islamic and man-made laws. They violate all values. They are deterred by nothing but force."

Oh absolutely, SOMEBODY'S gotta fire the rockets at the school buses full of kids.
dude, you wanna talk about attacking civilians? Look up the 2009 Gaza War.
I suppose the extensive network Hezbollah is building throughout South and Central America is to protect Lebanese assets in the region from the Mossad?
They're a terrorist group, simple as that. Defending their actions by pointing at somebody else is probably the worst type of argument you can make. It's like a 5 year old saying "but-but-but" and pointing at the other kid when he gets busted for breaking a lamp.
Fine, then Israel are terrorists and so are we.
Sorry, but our armed forces also try to deliver crushing blows to people's psyches, it just isn't televised. And trivial definitions based on race or religion are... well, racist.

hey I am not saying they should fire rockets into Israel. But the aggressor in the region has been Israel, they have killed a lot more children and demolished a lot more homes. The plight of the Palestinians has to be part of the dialogue and it simply isn't in the western world. People unconditionally support Israel, no matter what they do. Hezbollah is a terrorist organization, they probably killed the Hariri. But if Israel invades again there will be a toll.
Even if this sparks a world war or at the least us getting involved, most of the world powers will back the US and if they want to go all out they could end it very quickly.
Obama is a closer ally to Israel than any President in years. Just because he disagrees with the political views of one party in a very small number of areas does not make him anti-Israel. Jews vote for him at a very high rate for a reason.
Because a quarter of Israelis are arab and another good chunk are orthodox.
the north of Israel will be all arabs (muslims, christians, druze) sooner or later.
I support Israel and everything they do
Heres the fix to the middle east and all of America's major problems
I'm just happy that 90% of Americans still agree with EF_Wolverine on this topic and 10% still think peace can be achieved.
If you knew about me, you'd know why I say that
We all know where you stand with your open antisemitism. Idiot.
My money will be on Isreal and will take the over. The will fight like wars are meant to be fought and will not jack around, you will see no battle field reporters or correspondence and if their enemies wish to hide in mosques, hospitals and schools say bye bye and their will be no ten year lingering police action it will be all or nothing. Having said all of that I hope it does not happen because it will be on big time for everybody.
Wasn't it the early 70's when Egypt, Jordan, and another Arab country sneak attacked Israel and the news crew were talking about how it was the fall of Israel. Two days later the Isralis were right outside Cairo. You don't mess with a bunch of pissed of Jews man. If they want to tear up Iran, Iran should take notice. We may be bigger and stronger, but Israel plays with their own playbook.
They will not be jacking around, if they were to ever have their equivalent of our 9/11 the sands will be turned to glass.
they have a couple hundred people die in explosions every week. The only reason they haven't cleaned house is because we ask them to behave.
every week? source please
