You would have to put out a ton for it to do anything, good or bad. When buying fertilizer it is important to know what grass type you have and how large your lawn is.
shit youve asked that 5 times, sorry. its basically a new lawn this year. put down lime, fert, and a fescue blend, still had clovers but it was lush and green and heres the product:
JONATHAN GREEN ORGANIC LAWN FERTILIZER 10M. 8-3-1. Prevents thatch buildup. Can be used throughout all seasons. Apply at heavy rate when seeding lawns. Helps rejuvenate your tired sick lawn with a slow gentle feeding promoting a healthy, thick dark green turf over time.
are saying put out a ton of the granules?
My god, I hope you didn't pay that much for it! I don't have as much experience with fescue and other 'cool season' grasses, call your extension agent, they usually have more knowledge for your local area, generally a lb of nitrogen/1,000 sq ft is a good bet this time of year. Take your first number in the analysis and divide it by one, this will tell you how many lbs of product you have to put out/1,000 sq ft, hope this helps
also, is that product any good cause one of my suppliers in south car is going out of business and i buy those bags for $25 w/ free shipping, they got 19 bags left if you're interested, also have mag/cal, bone mea and weed screen at a steal
Sorry, I need to clarify you take one and divide it by the first number of the analysis as a percentage so if you had a 24-2-11, take 1 (lbs of nitrogen/1,000) and divide it by. 24 to get total pounds of fertilizer to put for your lawn. I still wouldn't put out anything out for a couple weeks.
honestly i dont know what you're talking about. landscaping is not my forte, obviously. thanks for the input and let me know if you need any of those bags.
dude, try your best to forget everything you've read here (grass seed clogged in the spray bottleWTF)
i never saw an answer to "what type grass is it".
that is the biggest question i'd have^^^^^^^^
to clarify....... he sprayed a phucking water soluable fertilizer (not grass seed) on some type grass and burned it.amirite?
i own an irrigation business in charlotte. not a grass expert, but am pretty up to speed on this stuff
