Guess we will see but I would be surprised if he switched at this point.
Love not war
Jeremy Johnson should be a good one, I wonder how he fits with the pro offense Loeffler wants to run though.
If Malzahn were still there he would have a shot at immediate PT, in a pro set I think you'll have to give him some time to develop.
Foster on the other hand looks like a mess physically and fundamentally right now.
You are an awful troll
Foster had a bad game yeah but jumping off the bandwagon is just absurd
Maybe I'm telling you the truth
Like I said an awful troll
Wake me up when y'all aren't "young". Or have cam newton
[yawn] that all you got
He hasnt looked the same to me since the summer camps when he tweaked his knee, but thats just my opinion. Still massive potential if the light comes on.
Johnson is legit. He and Joshua Dobbs (hint....BamaNation) are 2 of the more underrated QBs in the 2013 class. If only Dobb's Alpharetta team played defense.
Reuben Foster needs to re-dedicate himself......."Discipline and Motivation" in terms of his conditioning. I saw him at the Georgia Rising Seniors All-Star Game in Dec 2011 and he was physically the most impressive high school LBer I've ever seen in person. He was ~230 pounds then. I'd imagine he's 250-255 right now and the "excess" weight is impacting his game.
Re-focus and get back down to 230 and the 2011 Foster will be back. Nobody can play at their best potential when heavy/out of shape.....including Robert Nkemdiche who also needs to lose 10-15 pounds and re-focus.
Right now Johnson and Carl Lawson have impressed me the most in Auburn's 2013 class. Both are playing like "bosses" so far this season.
You get out of it what you put into it!
J Johnson is the best QB in highschool football. Carver's #5 is a true RB.
i thought Johnson was an instate top 5 player last spring but while he has skills imo he still needs polish before considering him for an extra *.
as for Rueb ? it looked more like Carver's center getting to the 2nd level & locking him up more so than ESPN camera's hindering his play.
one gleaming question arose just before haftime when the TV announcer said " Auburn High is very very young."
so i must ask, did someone discover the fountain of youth in Opilka ?
Yeah #5 was going off all night.
Huddles are for rookies.
^this. It almost appears that Coach Chizik (or whoever makes the decisions) does not understand offensive football. If they were making a legit change to a Pro Style offense, why would they recruit Spread Style quarterbacks? Is Auburn going to switch back to the spread in a couple years? Creating a hybrid spread/pro offense?
JJ is rated as a pro-style QB... Just happens to play on a spread.
