NFL legend Junior Seau was found dead in his home in Oceanside, CA ... and cops are investigating a shooting ... multiple law enforcement sources tell
Wow... that's heartbreaking. I will prey for his family.
Did not see that one coming.
Damn I can't believe that.
Damn. If it ends up being a suicide, I'm sure the NFL will be dragged in, in regards to head injuries.
This is all kinds of crazy.
Time and change will surely (truly) show
How firm thy friendship ... OHIO!
I sounds like he had some real demons.
He drove his SUV off a cliff two years ago in what the cops thought was a suicide attempt but he denied it.
Looks like another perfect day.
Put a whole new context to the SUV story...
One of my all-time favorite Trojans.
I used to love him in San Diego
All time favorite non-Gator.. Horrible news
I had forgot all about that story but now it makes a lot of sense.
Really sad to hear this.
he had a sweet pad right on the beach.
People will have head injuries and the same exact things regardless of bounties or not. It's football.
Stopping bounties doesn't magically stop head injuries and hits lol
Danielle Hunter, Jamario Rasco, Anthony FREAK Johnson.. DL wrecking crew of 2013.
Horrible I remember him playin guy was a beast on the field sad day
Probably should. I watched the Real Sports with Bryant Gumble about all the suicides that happened in hockey last offseason and all of them were "enforcers" with multiple concussions. It's a tough thing to say because I certainly don't want hitting taken out of the game like the NFL seems to be trying to do, but I guess I would rather that then some of my favorite all time NFL players killing themselves due to the negative after effects of head injuries.
Also it's hard to say that this was a result of head injuries. He could very well have just been messed up.
This is devastating.
He was just at our spring game, with 7 other of our legendary players...in the locker room talking to the players.
I don't know what to say, I feel really saddened...
"Here are provided seats of meditative joy, where shall rise again the destined reign of Troy." Virgil
Man hits will happen every game. It's football. I'm not being ignorant but the head stuff won't end unless they remove contact completely.
sketch.....this is somehow going to be brought back to football and the NFL for causing head trauma and so on. RIP Junior, one amazing linebacker
really unreal , what a player he was and a great man as well
Damn this is terrible. I hope he finally has some peace. RIP 55
Weak move to do that to your family.
You really have no idea of what kind of shit he had to battle everyday and you should feel fortunate that you don't.
They're definitely setting an example.
