Soo stoked. Best or coolest invention ever. Anyone have one of these? In putting it together now.

You can actually print a gun and that thing will shoot, then disintegrate.. crazy stuff.. These things aren't that expensive either which was surprising.
Doesn't disintegrate, just falls apart apparently because it's not strong enough.
The question I have is does this thing shoot real bullets at the proper velocity?
On an episode of CSI, the second round caused the gun to explode. That show is 100% true to life , so I think it will work
Very cool, how much did that set you back?
I'll be the first to ask... if you were to print boobs, would they feel like a bag of sand?
how much are they?

Here ya go...
Apparently this is a cheap one.
Only one way to find out...
I have an idea. I don't feel like spending $500 on this thing. How about the OP makes me a 3D printer with his 3D printer...?

Sarah sorry about the Herpes.
This particular one we got was $1500.. I cannot wait to play with that thing.. I'm going to make me another set of Golf Clubs.
I really love the possibilities that 3D printing introduces for individual freedom and liberty. Once more and more people have access to this technology, it's going to be difficult for the government to outlaw something that people can make for themselves.
You mentioned printing a gun. Another possibility is simply printing the magazine. A nice thirty rounder that all the gun grabbers hate would be perfect. PMAGs are already made out of plastic so its not too far of a stretch. And once everyone can make their own 30 round magazines, good luck banning them.

wow!!! thanks for providing that
Not sure the point of the printer? You mentioned printing golf clubs. Why? What is the main purpose of the printer.

imagine if some small part breaks on one of your home appliances or car. Instead of ordering a new one from the manufacturer you can now download that part from an online database and just print yourself a replacement.
I really haven't looked at the 3D printers too much. What materials are used for teh printing?
For those that don't know too much about these Printers.. Youtube "3D printer" and watch some of the videos.. This is truly a revolutionary invention, do yourself a favor and watch some of the videos about these printers.
All looks overrated to me. Unless the part you need is plastic, this printer doesn't do you any good, it just prints out a plastic copy of some object. So if I need a nail, sure I could print one out of this printer, but I would be stupid to hang a picture on it.
You couldn't be more wrong but that's ok.. It's normal for people to spew stuff that they have absolutely no idea what they're talking about.
This thing is AWESOME and does way more than you think.
I thought it just printed plastic stuff. Why don't you tell me where I am wrong instead of being a...
