Hope I enjoy it. I know I will like NFL Sunday Ticket this year but hope everything else is fine. We live on top of the hill and wind gets pretty strong here so I hope we dont lose signal or anything frequently.
mkillian247 on twitter..... I say a lot of stuff you wont care about.
Mine got hooked up today. I moved and this new place isn't equipped for U-verse. Major disappointment.

sorry for y'all
lots of fun for sure and much better than cable
I live where its extremely windy and I never lose signal. Only time I lose a signal is when its really cloudy, but thats rare and comes back on quickly.
Can I get educated on U-Verse please? I'm really anxious to switch from Direct because I can't stand it. I really want to go back to Dish, and that is the current plan. Is U-Verse a satellite? What is the programming like? DVR technology on the Dish Network level(best I have seen)?
congratulations. You will never go to a different provider imo. I have lived with dish network and local cable and both are light years behind directv. Sunday ticket and the channels for golf are amazing. Plus their whole home dvr is great.
Have to disagree, I had direct for 12 years, and cable for the last year. I just got Dish and so far, Dish beats both of them.
Dish definitely wins. That is, if you don't want Sunday Ticket, which I don't.
But can someone give me some info on U-Verse? I will google reviews, but I like to hear from "real people".
The little I know about uverse is that its a fiber optic line and its way better than the garbage I have now aka Comcast. Think I may switch to directtv or dish. Suggestions?
Why didn't you give them my account number?? We could have got discounts
U-verse is amazing but expensive. Great picture quality and fast Internet. You can call AT&T for the current specials and they will amend them to your bill. I paid about $160 a month for tv and Internet with U-verse. I'm now paying $110 a month for tv and Internet bundle with DirecTV.
Gotcha. Good luck with Century Link. I had it for a week, and threatened a lawsuit if they didn't let me out of the verbal contract. It worked maybe 4 hours out of the day, and when it did work it wasn't fast at all.
yea... I didn't have another option...
i have century link and havent had any problems at all.
Damn! I only payed 120 per month with them and that included my phone too
Yea. I had the mid-grade Internet but I had a pimped out tv lineup. Three HD boxes with whole home DVR, HBO, Showtime, Cinemax, sports package, the whole shazam.
I got Dish and very happy with it. Don't need NFL Sunday Ticket as I hardly watch the NFL anyway, even if you get it "Free" this year.
Hope you enjoy it tho.
"Get in where you fit in." Life is, Too Short TL;DR
Good choice OP. There is no way I would get Dish when you can't watch Breaking Bad, and The Walking Dead.
You are into the second best of everything Dish? Really? Android over iPhone? You got some issues dude.
is $200 a month for directv too much?
