How many deaths were there?
Any knife designed to kill should be off the streets also.
Also knives can kill also, but not nearly as "efficiently" or as quickly.
I'm not a gun nut........but I definitely see the irony. You don't?
Shhh... Not to loud
That kind of kills the point of this stupid thread.
Doesn't matter....they can kill
I'm so glad this is here
"A attack where a crazy uses a knife to attack 22 kids in China. = 0 Deaths.
A attack where a crazy uses a gun to attack 30+ kids in the USA. = 20 Deaths.
A attack at a college where a crazy uses a gun to shoot 49 people. = 32 Deaths.
A attack at a college where a crazy uses a knife to stab 14 people. = 0 Deaths."
Apparently they can't. At least not as efficiently and effectively as firearms. Again, why can't we have a discussion on guns without bringing all this side nonsense in? Anyone?

I wonder if it was an assault knife??
Because this is a knives thread.
So, there is one mass stabbing in the past how many years? And it resulted in 0 deaths? But there have been an alarming number of mass shootings the past decade resulting in many deaths.
People honestly think this is an apples to apples comparison?
No, this is a subtle, sarcastic jab at all the gun threads we had. We're not stupid.
And then I see an ad on mobile at the top of the site saying "$5 knive sharpening" lol
In 20 minutes this guy stabbed 19 people and no one died. Most had minor cuts
In 20 minutes a 110lb teenager shot 26 people including 20 children while firing over 150 rounds.
If you can't see the difference in the level of lethality in these two scenarios, then you are either really dense or trolling.
Most men with proper training can defend themselves in a knife attack. Its much harder to defend against someone pointing a gun at you from 10 feet away.

No one is making you participate?
Maybe they should put you up against one and find out?
I told y'all some crazy would try to use this to further the gun control agenda.
"Knives aren't always lethal, so we must ban guns!"
So you are saying its ok to go around stabbing people as long as no one dies?
It's not even debatable that in these kinds of crazed situations that guns are more lethal than knives. Literally, not even debatable. And for the record, other than some more stringent safety and competency testing, I'm not calling for any gun control.
I say we make people take knife defense courses at the same time we give them the industry-standard "are you likely to go postal with an AR-15" psych exam. Two birds with one stone, right?
So it is fine to stab people as long as you arent killing them? Gotcha...thanks
Want me to be totally honest? Yes, I'd say it's better when people get hurt and don't die versus a lot of people dying. These kinds of discussions are not as black and white as people want them to be.
Your ideology isn't to stop violent crime. It's to make it less deadly when it occurs. That is the problem.
Okay....let us stab you multiple times
You're just not willing to have a level-headed discussion about this. Every thread is pumped full of sarcasm, insults and unrelated topics. What's the big deal? Can't we have a sincere discussion like adults?
