That is completely and utterly not true. You have obviously never stayed there.
I have stayed there. It's an absolute dump.
Where have you stayed besides Bally's?
I'm surprised no one's mentioned The Palms. It has a 20 to 40 year old demographic.
Not on the strip but nice reasonable rooms and some of the best looking women in Vegas hit the clubs there.
Looks like another perfect day.
The Palms has changed dramatically in recent years.
The new cool place for hip and good looking people is the Cosmopolitan. The Palms is turning into a locals casino.

It has been about 4 years since I stayed there.
Vegas moves fast.
It really does. It's insane how things change in that town.
my choice was....new york new york. 2 plane tickets from birmingham,al and 5 nights for $1138
I love NY NY. I play a lot of blackjack there.
im a fan of playing blackjack at bill's on the $5 tables
I lived in Las Vegas for the last four years. I have stayed at every single major casino on the strip, including a stay at Bally's the third week of July this year. I am an EXPERT on these hotels. I did work for AAA for a year on this, from 2010 through 2011.. I know every single hotel in that town inside and out.
Ballys is in no way shape or form a dump. Their rooms are among the biggest on the strip, and the north tower rooms are all recently renovated, and have better appointments than more supposed upscale hotels like the Mirage, and Planet Hollywood. The south tower rooms are older, and not as nice, but still as good as almost every other place, PLUS they are bigger. Over a 100 square feet bigger than NY/NY for instance.
Bally's is, right now, by a huge margin, the best deal in Las Vegas. It has a fantastic combination of location, price and high quality rooms.
You guys trying to give this guy advice, like staying at a money sucking hotel like The Encore, or an aging one like The Mirage, are just cracking me up. Bally's is, at this moment, the best overall deal on the strip in Las Vegas. I defy ANYONE to see one of their rooms, then compare it to any other non suite room on the strip, and not admit that Bally's rooms are in better condition, larger and cheaper than ANY of them.
I met Steve Wynn.. One of the absolute nicest people I've met in my life. All of his workers have been with him for over 20 years (Well, most of them) and they all rave about him. He is one of the richest people in Vegas (owns half the hotels there) and he'll come and just talk to the lower level workers and just about everyone that works for him.
If you stay in the Wynn, eat at "Switch".. Badass restaurant in the Wynn where the entire room, walls, ceiling all changes to a completely different atmosphere every 15-30 minutes.
I've stayed all over but as I said earlier, the Wynn/Encore is the best hotel in Vegas.
Danielle Hunter, Jamario Rasco, Anthony FREAK Johnson.. DL wrecking crew of 2013.
I'm not sure you should take this so personal. I've stayed at almost all of them too and I would recommend Bally's and Flamingo's. If I'm there on business I stay Venetian, Mirage, etc.
You can play blackjack at NY NY on weekdays for $5/hand too.
LULZ at the expert.
Bally's is awful.
true. i forgot about that. i remember them being full the whole time i was there last. i'll be there on a wednesday, thursday and monday
And again...you are commenting in a thread where you have shown a complete lack of knowledge. Thank you.

Well, I don't claim to be an "expert" as yourself but I do have a modicum of taste.
when i go i stay at the Wynn and Bellagio but thats b/c someone else is paying for me to be in Vegas ; one of my favorite cities as there is always something cool going on
Wynn and Palazzo are the best hands down.
I'm headed to Vegas now, staying at the Cosmo for Magic.
What company are u with? I've been to magic the last 3 times with work. Not going this time tho
Is Reno cheaper?
I could stay at Tahoe and bet on sports there.
