What is it about Bollman that brings the scatalogical side out of you?
Those have been such a quality opponents he has beaten as well, good for you for feeling confident in him... While the rest of the country will say you are a delusional fool, so what? It doesnt matter what they say about Daddy does it, you still love him none the less right?
From Dan's article on RCMB... who knows what capacity Bollman will be used in
According to one source, Bollman could become co-offensive coordinator at MSU while working with the offensive line.
You are really not one to talk about quality opponents.
clever question although your defense of his hiring is nothing short of a shart

he is coaching on your sidelines..
Something magical happens when Hoke walks through that tunnel and steps into the Big House. It's as if we can't lose. We saw it in the UTL game against ND and again against Ohio in 2011. And again last year, at least three times, against AF and Sparty and NW. It makes you wonder if we will ever lose a home game while Hoke is HC.
Geezus man, take this Shiz somewhere else. This thread is dedicated to Sparty's horrendous hire.
And I shall rejoice in victory for another 365 days over That School Up North.
Not even John L. Smith?? That guy was a tire fire.
I am a Buckeye...proof there is a God in Heaven who loves me.
No, the RCMB is a very level-headed bunch that rarely melts down.
(That's all sarcasm. We melt down twice a week for various reasons.)
You call it magical
Rest of the nation calls its dumb luck
Sounds like Bollman will have limited capacity at OC. I'm sure Dantonio after working with him at OSU knows what his strengths are and will utilize his talents on our staff.
The other new and up coming talent will handle the rest.
Dantonio is the man! Go Green.
It's absolutely astounding how UM has managed to win home games against teams that they're supposed to beat, even though they often need late heroics to avoid a disappointing upset. Just utterly baffling how that happens.
looking forward to watching him destroy your program.....one fat OL at a time
So you don't think Dantonio knows what he's doing?
It's not baffling at all. Winning is our destiny.
after today clearly not.....it will be his downfall unless he has another coach that can cover up for him.
Just gonna throw this out there:
It seems to be that JT called the plays when Bollman was OC. Could it be that Dantonio wants Bollman for a similar role and plans on calling plays himself?
During the Michigan-MSU game last year there was a point where I saw Dantonio pick up the playsheet and MSU started moving the ball fairly well (and tbh I didn't understand why he wasn't calling them all game). Could he be deciding to take over play calling and wants to use Bollman in another manner?
"Isn't it amazing what somebody will do when he can't bunt." - Vin Scully
Don't think Dantonio himself would be calling the plays.. but could easily see Bollman as the co-OC, gameplanner and OL coach and either Warner or Salem stepping into the co-OC playcalling role
And yea the one drive against UM that led to the TD was all Dantonio (even though he denies it)
Dantonio let go of Roushar for a reason.. doubt he's going to bring someone in he doesn't have faith that can do better than the 2012 offensive product

No lie, that drive scared the shit out of me and also confused me at the same time. You guys moved the ball so easily and I was wondering where that was all game and why he doesn't call plays more. Granted I don't know all the responsibilities of a head coach and he may not have the time to call plays all the time.
We wondered that same thing the entire season.
We all assume Roushar was on the can during that drive..
I like to think you meant "WERE Michigan..." rather than WE'RE.... you know....... because you're a has-been program that peaked during the William McKinley administration.
a career DC is going to start calling plays on offense? At least there is an answer now as to what keeps you from being a top program.
That was a UM fan's suggestion..
