Washington and Clapp both in top 247 have committed today. Predicting they have top class in the country next year with all the talent in LA and east Texas.
This is the best year, talent wise, in Louisiana probably ever. Plus we are the top choice for a bunch of big time OOS guys.
We'll be in the top 2 or 3 without a doubt in recruiting this season if we hold down the state. This will be an amazing class.
Danielle Hunter, Jamario Rasco, Anthony FREAK Johnson.. DL wrecking crew of 2013.
Yes, yes I know. I don't recall ever seeing Louisiana this loaded. Just think if kids hasn't been displaced from Katrina. Paris is 1 I'm sure there are more.
Here's to hoping Leonard Fournette Landon Collins' LSU... please.
. Going off of what we know now I am not worried about him in the least ...
The two I am worried about are Cameron Robinson and Garrett Brumfield. Going to be a close battlefield with Bama and all the Fla schools.
I remember when Collins was a lock... but I'm not saying I'm confident, lol.
Robinson and Fournette is a pretty absurd 1/2 from the same state.
If LSU is not taking any backs in this class to get Fournette that's pathetic. I have the utmost respect for LSU & all their posters on here (minus Scoot) but I didn't figure they would do something like that. I guess y'all could not take one until he commits & then add another in '14, which could be a savvy move but who knows.

Have to somewhat agree... I mean, Hill as a JR and Fournette as a frosh would be a nice combo... but if one or both got hurt, damn.
Keep hearing that Brumfield really likes us but I refuse to get my hopes up over a Louisiana kid. Especially one who attends his school.
Ford and Ware going pro a year really hurt LSU and they will be one RB injury away from being in a ton of trouble in 2013. But guys, just you wait because help is on the way. Hill is one of the best RB's in the country as a true freshman. Dude is sick. Now in 2014 you will add the best RB prospect to come out of high school in a long time in Fournette. Then in 2015 there is a RB out of Louisiana by the name of Nicholas Brossette who very well might be the top RB in that class too. LSU leads bog for him. Add in a few filler RB's here and there and you have one hell of a stable. Hill, Fournette, and Brossette would be one hell of a trio for 2015.
Jeremy Hill 6'2" 225
Leonard Fournette 6'1" 221
Nick Brossette 6'0" 210
I would agree with that last part but Hill won't be there in '15 if his freshman production was any indication. Three & done for him IMO.
Washington's recruitment is far from over, according to him he is wide open.

Yeah, that is a pretty good bet.
wtf? He's special enough to be the only RB.
You have no clue don't you?
Alfred Blue (Our #1 back before he had a season ending injury, which lead to Hill starting)
All will be back.. Add Fournette in the next class.. LSU will be fine at RB
By *this* I meant the '13 class, which would mean he's the only RB you would take over two classes. I know he's *that* good & I'm a huge fan of Hill, but Blue graduates next year (amirite?) & Hilliard could go pro, leaving you with Hill & Fournette, which would still be great by the way but you're an injury away from trouble in '14. I've always liked your posts & no one has more respect for the Bama/LSU rivalry than me as previously stated, and I most certainly don't "not have a clue."
I realize now my opening sentence was slightly ambiguous, and that's my B. In the words of Pac..."I ain't mad atcha."

I would say that very, very few recruitments are over this far from NSD, especially for kids from the south.
You do make a good point but I think we'll be fine.
Didn't mean to come at you like that though my bad.
Go back to BOL scumbag
No hes not. He is committed to play ball at LSU. I understand your mods are giving yall hope but he is a Tiger.
I was just fvcking with you Scoot.
ha ha ha ha
We have at least one guy de-commit every year right before NSD but there are quite a few '14 guys that once they verbal we will not have to worry about because of how close they are already are in HS. We are very lucky to have fertile recruiting grounds, the only "major" football program in state, and days like today where they hold LA prospect only days really reinforce the close bonds those kids have.
This is why it is always a safe bet to think we are keeping LA kids home in state. Every now and again we will lose someone but the only school that we have lost head to head with recently without any tampering (Toshiro Davis) is Bama and that speaks for itself with Sabans ties to LA and how good their program is at the present moment. A&M is a potential threat but they not getting anyone that we both have offers too anytime soon out of La.
We also have a local kid named Darrell Williams that I hope we lock up soon for '14 before he really blows up. Kid is a hoss. Him and LF in the same year would be quite the haul.
Direct quotes from his saying
"let all them aggies know my recruitment wide open!!"
When asked why he committed so early, he then said "IDK man."
Go ahead and believe what you want but there's a long way to go in his recruitment.
Go Blue & Gig Em'!
I figured, when your the face of LSU, you get that
