Will there be a changing of the guard this weekend or will LSU show that they're still an SEC beast? My prediction......
I think LSU learned their lesson at AU and looked ahead vs. Towson. Florida has made some great halftime adjustments lately. 24-17 LSU
Kind of the way I see it. I can't see LSU allowing Florida to run on them at all so that's gonna leave it up to Driskel. Is he ready to be that guy? I doubt it. Will be an interesting game.
There's going to be a moment where LSU pulls something out of their ass, like a trick play or inexplicable drive. If UF stops it or contains it, they can win.
If not, I expect LSU win by less than 7.
Florida 17, LSU 10.
Mettenberger has 2 INTs. He is simply an avg QB....which is what LSU typically gets from it's QBs.
Florida should win by much more than 7, but I will go conservative.
Florida wins IMO.
Until maybe Sunday night or so, I was calling LSU to win this one, and my head still tells me that's the case. But I just can't shake the feeling that UF is going to beat them. I think with UF's team, that could be the game that propels them back into elite status... not for beating a highly ranked team, mind you, but because they've been uber-talented for years and just need real confidence. The swamp will be crazy (probably won't affect LSU unless Mettenburger is the nervous type), and the UF D will feed off that. I'm seeing a low scoring slobberknocker with UF winning and Muschamp having to do sign language at the post game presser.
Les will discuss currency exchanges and turnovers.
Neither team will score more than 20. I think UF shocks us in the Swamp, although I'm not sure it'll be much of a shock.
South Carolina Gamecocks. The 2010 National College Baseball Champs.
UF - 24
LSU - 10
I'll say 17-16 Florida
I'm more worried about the throwing than I am the running. We need to come out and force them to play honest defensively to start the game or we could get in trouble. LSU's offense has left a lot to be desired for ever since the title game.
Still, I'm going with the Gators by 10+
This is the weekend where the Gators usually make me want to give up following football, so I'm going to be confident until then.

Lots of dumbazzes itt. LSU by 24
I think UF wins.
You're in for a rude awakening
I agree here. I think just in the last 24 hours I've started to really expect Florida to win. Mettenberger is nowhere near as confident AND talented as Driskell right now.
I disagree on "much more than 7" part. LSU's DL should win the battle against UF's OL pretty noticeably and that will keep it close. Florida doesnt rotate many DL either and LSU can really lean on you with a power run game.
Really?? 8 sacks your OL gave up against A&M. Rush 4, 7 in coverage, you QB will throw picks all day. One WR has over 10 catches. Plus your QB always rolls right, same side has Keke(fastest DE in college).
Kentucky ran on y'all, Florida is overrated n this game will be a blowout. 34-10 LSU wins
I hope this game goes into triple overtime...

Save that mother F-er you jort wearing hippie
Not true we rotate about at least 9 guys
Floyd, Easley, McCray, Hunter
Okine, Bullard, Orr, Fowler, Jacobs
Cashing checks with your ass and what not
Outside of the Alabama game for the NC, what usually happens when LSU dominance is in doubt? They usually mud hole their opponent. And they've always done that with Jefferson and Lee. Both who suck more than Mettenberger. I always go with the team who's proven what they're about in big games before until proven otherwise.
Yep and they have the least amount of sacks and TFLs in the SEC
Downvote the truth, still doesn't change it
Smart post. I usually feel the same way but I'm hoping the gators embarrass LSU so Scoot jumps off his roof
