That lasted a long time.
Getting the ready for the back peddling.
Did he give a reason?
He realized he made a quick foolish decision and wants to visit Michigan again soon. (he visited tonight)
Seriously, damn. Talk about a quickie marriage.
And visited MSU last night
Corch Urbs doing work sons!!!!
About as long as a Kardashian marriage.
Must be related to Anzalone.
And I shall rejoice in victory for another 365 days over That School Up North.
High School Kids.. What can you say lol
Urbz gave him the ole "you don't commit this offer might not be here later".
That many of your fans are absolute fools talking like you owned the state of Michigan in recruiting.
Still a looooong way to go for Webb, especially at Cass Tech.
I think Webb is all tOSU this their version of Dymonte Thomas, IMO.
I would tend to agree. But that doesn't change the fact there is still a year until signing day, and he is in a school that gives Michigan who they want generally, and he has close friends who are going to be playing on Michigan.
I think Webb sticks with tOSU in the end, but I also stick by my statement of a long way to go.
Kim's lasted longer....
OSU isn't getting taken for millions in the divorce settlement though.
If it were Ole Miss, on the other hand...
Early frontrunner for the Reuben Foster "I can't make up my mind" award?
From a Bucknut perspective, not really upset about this loss. If one position we can afford to look elsewhere is the d-line. Marshall is good, but not Spence/Washington/Bosa good. Obviously the kid got caught up in the excitement over the weekend. I was a little alarmed when he said he had no intention of committing. I knew then after he committed that it may not stick. Certainly didn't expect it that quickly.
Webb I want to keep. It's been said he grew up a Buckeye fan. If that's true, I feel more comfortable in keeping him even if he attends Cass. But I do not expect Michigan/MSU/any other colleges to back down just 'cos he's committed. We're now playing defense, much like we had to do with Trey Johnson heading down the waning moments to signing day.
Other 2 kids in tSUN is McDowell, and most notably, Harris that I really want. One thing I really hate about early OOS commits is rumors of/decommits. I would prefer that we wouldn't accept commits til mid-late January (before signing day) just for the sake of my sanity.
Ehh. Can't blame the kid for seeing more schools and enjoying the process. That said, it's not like he committed to scUM either. He may end up coming back and recommitting some day.
I agree OSU doesn't own TSUN as a recruiting territory. Close to home is ALWAYS a big advantage. Then again, TSUN only produces a handful of talent worthy of a top D1 program schollie in any given year anyway. So it's not really an area OSU would want to spend a lot of resources "locking down."
We'll just ride with Urb's "best in the nation" strategy. If a couple of those happen to be from TSUN, then so be it.
BTW, if anyone is thinking this a victory by Hoke over Meyer, their insane. Us OSU fans will be more than happy to take our chances any/every time Urb goes toe-to-toe with Hoke. I like our odds.

Thank god, I hate Urban. I hope a USC-esque meltdown happens this coming season.
Don't hold your breath.
LULz... That's true. That's always a good thing
If he goes to Michigan then how is that not a victory for Hoke? I don't understand how it couldn't be.
Not sure why the
It was yall who had a meltdown over this kid. To be honest I'd heard his name once or twice when he committed.
