Stil has a better vertical and ran a better 40 time, 6 finals MVp's no other team in NBA history has ever won more than 4 titles w/o a low post scorer excpet the MJ dynasty..
LBJ is amazing I just don't think hes as good as Jordan thats all..
Lebron was also carrying around 34 + pounds. Yeah, but what about the 8 years before that. We place too much of that period during Jordan's career while forgetting about the years before that. And the exact opposite for Lebron.
I don't either, but he's extremely close.. Plus he's doing it against better overall comp today.

University of Alabama: The high mark of college football since 1892
LEbron does have a top 8 player in the NBA and top 15 player on his team, on any given night Wade is capable of being top 5..
Yeah Pippen wasn't arguably the second best player and Rodman wasn't any good. Horace Grant sucked. Paxson couldn't shoot. Stacey king sucked too.
Pippen won an MVP.

Does anyone honestly think that LeBron will ever be as good as Michael?
Will not flame, just want to see some truly honest answers.
would have been even better if Steve Kerr could ever knock down a 3. Damn Jordan had no supporting cast.
It's at least possible.
Its really too early to tell imo. Just enjoy watching LeBron play now and argue over this stuff the day LeBron retires.
It's hard to project.
Lebron is still getting better. If he wins 6 MVP's, and 4 rings or so, plus 4 finals MVP's I'd say he's got a chance.
Lebron had a dog shit team in Cleveland and still did work.
He had one bad playoff series (on the biggest stage granted), but all his others have been straight fire.
He's also had two of the best playoff performances ever and his resume is far from done.
It will be tough, but Lebron has a shot. He's got nowhere near the resume, but if he keeps improving he could get there.
What about from a sheer talent perspective?
It absolutely is a lock.
Lebron is going to win his 4th this year, and he is only getting better. If KD wins MVP over Lebron the award should be scraped. He is the best player in the game and playing the best basketball of his career, notably playing better than last year when he won MVP.
Lebron should win 5 at least.
As a scorer, no, but he's not way behind like people might want you to believe. In other aspects of the game absolutely. He is a better passer and gets his teammates involved better almost to a fault at times. Defensively, they are on about the same level. Rebounding I think LeBron has an advantage.
The thing is what makes LeBron even better won't show up on a stat sheet and thats his versatility. The Heat roster absolutely will not work without LeBron his ability to get plugged in at any position and guard anyone covers a ton of weaknesses with this roster.
Interesting, thanks for your response.
just to be clear. I think Jordan is the GOAT and probably will be at the end of LeBrons career, but to think there is no chance LeBron gets there is kinda stupid imo.
Well from a physical talent standpoint absolutely. Jordan had a much stronger mental game, but Lebron has come a long way in that regard recently.
I think from a purely basketball skills point of view, Lebron might be as talented. But that isn't all that matters.
Lebron is more versatile though, that adds something to resume. Lebron might be the most versatile player of all time.
Pippen was never the second best player; Shaq, Malone, Barkley, Ewing, the Admiral, Hakeem were all significantly better than him. Pippen was a great rebounder and defender but offensively isn't half the player Wade is..
Never not ever..
LeBron is a much different player than MJ was, so it's really hard to compare. MJ was a cold-blooded scoring machine who took on the role of closer for the Bulls. LeBron is much more of a facilitator. An under-appreciated part of LeBron's game is that he is an elite passer and sees the floor as well as anybody in the game. That combined with his scoring ability and physical prowess, are what make him, by far, the best player in the game today. Both MJ and LeBron were/are elite defenders.
MJ will be seen as the greatest until LeBron wins at the level that MJ won. IMO, LeBron actually has a more complete skillset, but lacks some of the intangibles that made Jordan so great.
3rd in MVP my bad, just like d-wade
Wade is also a Finals MVP and had one of the best Finals in NBA history; Pippen is not even half the player Wade is, am I the only one who remembers Scottie bricking shot after shot for the Blazers and Rockets in the playoffs?
