Michael Jordan is a first class asshole. I have 4 reports on this and all legit. Then there's the guys I know in sports that all tell me, "you couldn't TRY to be a bigger asshole than him."
He's a jackass. He failed in baseball (not a great athlete. great basketball player. nowhere near Deion or Bo.), failed at the end in basketball and has proven to be the DUMBEST PERSON RUNNING A BASKETBALL TEAM IN THE HISTORY OF BASKETBALL..
Is mike incredible on the court? BEYOND magical, but he's a jack off and can't do much more than that....
Not exactly what Aristotle had in mind with university...
We are not talking about likability or overall athlete dripping into other sports. But I agree, Jordan is an ass and sucks at baseball
What is happiness? The feeling that power is growing, that resistance is overcome.--Friedrich Wilhelm Nietzsche
Whatever, I don't care if he wasn't a great baseball player. Or his success as a GM/Owner. He's the greatest basketball player that has ever lived.
I hate LBJ's guts....but there's absolutely no denying his supreme talent. He's already the greatest SF in NBA history. IMO, he hasn't passed up Kobe yet, but at the rate he's going, he'll get there in 3-4 seasons. What we're witnessing now is pure unadulterated greatness. God Help Us All!

Randy, I know its your opinion. But you can't put Wilt ahead of MJ. Besides Bill Russell, and in his later years Kareem. Did the guy play against any opponent that was his size? He is one of the greatest for sure, but its not hard to score 50 points a game when the opposing center is at best 6'7.
I see your point...but that's akin to saying "it's easy for LBJ to dominate the league when he's the only 6'9" 280 lbs player who runs a 4.4". Like Lebron now, Wilt was a freak of nature. Ran the 100m in 10.5....long jumped 25 ft, was an NCAA HJ champion....and played pro volleyball after he retired from the NBA. Not his fault no one else could compete with him physically.
I hear ya. He also had an insane bench press from stories I have read. He was incredibly strong.
Jordan > Kobe > Shaq > Lebron. They are the best players in my life time and I am 30. Jordan and Kobe just have the killer instinct and are not afraid to take the game winning shots. Of course Jordan did not average as many assists. Jordan put the game in his hand and dominated always. I think a lot of people dismiss Kobe because they watch him now and he is no longer in his prime but one of the best.
Not a bad list. But Russell never lost to Wilt how is he behind him?
And got to have Shaq on that list.
