The NFL draft analysts disagree with you. We will soon see if the NFL team scouts do as well.
Scored 4 touchdowns...in a single game. Polk High!
Teo = average. The only good team he played against he got rolled.
Minter had 135 tackles this season.
Mcshay's mock came out last night. He doesn't have Minter anywhere in the 1st round. It's amazing how BAD Mel and Todd's mocks are before they can cheat and hear where guys are going from NFL GM's, these mock drafts before being straight up told where guys are going are laughable. You need Insider to see his mock and if you see his mock, you'll laugh.. He has Star going 1st instead of LJ (tackle from TAMU), seriously? KC isn't taking another DL with their first pick.
If anyone wants to know who mcshay has going for their teams, PM me if you don't have insider and ill send what he has.
Danielle Hunter, Jamario Rasco, Anthony FREAK Johnson.. DL wrecking crew of 2013.
Yep, #7 Stanford sucked.
NFL draftcountdown has Minter to the Ravens in the 1st round. Scott Wright is pretty well respected. He has 3 ILB's going in the first round, Te'o, Ogletree, and Minter.

I hope my skins scope up Lavar Edwards from LSU...dude seems like a major sleeper
Then someone will pay first round money for an average talent.
Minter was the best LB in the SEC last year IMO... He has got to be a 1st rounder.
So, basically, he is saying you can drive a tent stake in the ground and it could take Ray Lewis' place.
Is that a shot against Ray, Manti, and/or the Ravens??
Jarvis Jones is the best lber because he's a good pass rusher? I believe in the bama game they ran over, thru and around his ass. I thought linebackers were supposed to be good vs the run
Surprised people know of him.. It's crazy, he played better and outplayed Montgomery and Mingo last season.
He's a sleeper like Perry Riley, highly productive player overshadowed by bigger names.

I guess you had the same opinion of Lavar Arrington as well? Maybe you missed your calling.
Mcshay has Montgomery to Seattle.. That would be awesome.
I'd rate about 4 ILBs better than Teo.
If I add outside/pass rushing linebackers
Moore from aTm
Jones from UGA
Okafor from UT
All those guys are better than Teo. Teo and Nico Johnson are about equal honestly. Teo just got big numbers for playing a bunch of teams that can't block. Navy, USC, Michigan State, etc all of them couldn't block and it was all Tuitt, the bigtime DE with the hyphenated name, and that big NT that made all the plays happen for Teo.
Really hope he doesn't drop past the packers. Him or ogletree would be great and let aj hawk walk if Desmond bishop is going to be healthy.
How do you think Rasco and Hunter will do, taking over for the 3 guys you're talking about above?
Please don't compare a legend with Manti Te'o. Te'o isn't even in the same ballpark as Arrington. The guy was the #2 pick and made the pro bowl in three of the 4 years he was healthy in the NFL (only his rookie year he didn't make it). The other years were marred by knee injuries.
I'll tell you one thing, if he had the same shot at Lacy as Te'o did, he would have buried him. That's the difference between the two... Arrington was an animal and Te'o is merely average.

That's an insult to Ozzie Newsome's talent evaluation abbilities.
What happens to everybody else has nothing to do with us, understand?”
Rasco flashed every time he played and Hunter is the most physically gifted player on the team. He looks like an NFL DE now.. No idea how he flew soo far under the radar in high school. Texas schools missed out on a friggin BEAST.
So you define someone as a bust when series of severe injuries end their career? Is that what you are saying? Because that is exactly what happened. As I said before, Arrington was an 3x all pro in his first 4 years, so he clearly played up to his potential before the injuries occurred.
This whole "debate" is laughable.
He obviously never saw Arrington play.
Must not have. I don't think he understands the size/speed combination that Arrington had and the fear that he brought to other teams. He was the gatorade national player of the year coming out of high school not just for his play at LB but also as a RB (he ended his HS career with over 4000 yards rushing and 72 TDs). He was recruited by UNC and Georgetown to play basketball. Simply put, he was a freak. Te'o is nothing like that. At all.
I'm a Redskins fan. You are right, Lavar was something else. Injuries killed him.
The fact that the Redskins have him in their "top 80 players of all time" when he only played 4 healthy seasons says everything. Doubters should ask Troy Aikmen what he thinks.
