For my daughters 4th birthday in 2 weeks. I live in Dothan Alabama and we don't have any in this area. So in looking for a reliable place/person to purchase one. I've tried AlabamaBullies but they don't have any available right now. Any suggestions TIA.
Dangerous call man, does your daughter have a preference ? cause those things die real fast
I might go another route unless you want to see her cry like hell at a young age for it will likely die before she is 12
fsufsu said... I've got about 10 great stories on Lane but all you need to know is he will never be a loser, that's for sure.
I knew this was gonna come up. But we understand that situation but it happens.
Try one of these....easy to house train, very friendly, and a very smart dog. Also love children, and never ever have to worry about anything get torn up.

I have a one year old female and she is a great w/ kids. Check out champbulldogs.com. My bully is from their bloodline and they are bred for excellent temperment/health. If you are able to meet the puppies parents and see the environment where the dogs live, it should give you an idea as to the puppies temperment. Shrinkabulls.com also has excellent Bulldogs. Good luck in bringing your new bully into your family, they are amazing pets.
Gotcha, wasn't trying to be a dick or nothing
I just don't think a english bulldog is the best dog for a little girl
They are ugly, stinky and droll all over the place
I would go with something else but its your call obviously
Labs are very cute puppies and pretty smart dogs, I could see a little girl loving one of them
1. Try a rescue. You may have to drive three hours, but the dog needs you more than you need it.
2. English bulldogs have many health issues and can't swim.
I have lots of opinions and advice on the subject, but I'm gonna keep it brief ;)
dude try a french bull dog like a mini english not as many problems and are cool as hell only negative is the price
Good call, those things are cool as hell
I knew a chick that had one, funniest little dog I have ever seen
Yes. Facebook salem bulldogs. They have some puppies coming very soon. You're welcome. Here I'll even link it for you
Facebook helps you connect and share with the people in your life.
Me too actually. I'd take any type of bulldog because I live in an apartment and need my dog to be a lazy sack of crap like me. I'd definitely prefer to adopt/rescue though.
Yes bulldogs are usually down for naps but if you think they are super lazy you got another thing coming to you.
Interesting... do go on.
not much more to say. They have plenty of of energy
yea, I was pretty surprised by how much energy my parents bulldog has. I expected him to just lay around all the time, but he is up playing just as much as their shih tzu. He's always up to play or go for a walk or whatever.
By they are great dogs. Very smart, they are independent by nature but they require moderate attention (cleaning wrinkles and they can't be out in the heat for long. Have to stay inside) not a long life span. All that said ill always own one
From what I've read, they're among the most apartment friendly dogs because they're smaller in size and even if they do run around, they're not as quick or jumpy as other dogs. Would you say that's a fair characterization? I also hear they tire out pretty quickly, after a walk for example.
You do, but will she?
Yeah that's fair for the most part. They tire easily because they can't breath very well and once they get too worked up they'll start choking, but that won't last very long. When they catch their breath they are ready to go again. Like I said they are down for naps, but they love to play all the time too. Quick and jumpy as other dog??? Absolutely they are. People say mine must think he's a cat sometimes. They have to be kept inside for the most part. They are short but wide so I wouldnt call them small. they are VERY smart but also stubborn. If you ever get one you'll never want another dog. They are awesome. I thought the same as you. They are gonna surprise the hell out of you.
I would recommend a Boston Terrier. Smart dogs that shouldn't have the health problems that an English bulldog might. Here's mine..
Very pretty pup. And you are right they atr also great dogs. English bulldogs are all about buying from a good breeder. You need to get a look at and study the parents/bloodlines. For example: don't buy the georgia ones
They cost about $3000
Danielle Hunter, Jamario Rasco, Anthony FREAK Johnson.. DL wrecking crew of 2013.
I always wanted and English Bulldog when I was a kid but am now partial to Boston terriers. Very easy to house train and they have funny personalities
Got mine for 1000. 2 1/2 months old at the time. You gotta shop around too brah
My chick is a vet(well 3rd year vet student) and refuses to let me get an English. She has seen all the outrages bills that come with one.
