C'mon man. I won't even come down on this, you set it up too easily.
Can't be serious.
2012/13: 57 goals so far
2011/12: 71 goals
2010/11: 56 goals
2009/10: 33 goals
2008/09: 35 goals
2007/08: 43 goals
2006/07: 26 goals
Yeah, when lining up stats against Messi..I can be dead serious.
Ronaldo is phenomenal. Messi is a prodigy.
You never said compared to Messi. You said your problem with Ronaldo was that he just dribbles well but doesn't score goals. He is the 2nd best goal scorer in the world, I'd say that means he isn't just a great dribbler.
Second best. And to be fair, I only brought up comparisons after Sir Mix A Lot said this:
"So be it then. I'm sure I'm not the only one in this world. I know everyone loves Messi, and Barca's smooth style, but Ronaldo is bigger, faster, and has better dribbling than anyone I've ever seen."
I do see Ronaldo as the CLEAR second best player in the world, but Messi is better than Ronaldo. I don't care what stats you have, Messi can back that argument up as well; he is the most talented player in the world. Simple as that.
Saying Ronaldo doesn;t score goals means you should kill yourself and never discuss soccer again. He's a top 15 attacking talent in the history of football. Messi is better.
Football has the best analysts and announcers in the world of sport and none of them debate this. Some dude's on an American message board debating it is just for killing time and trolling.
