Funny calling Romney a liar, but all the promises the prez made and never lived up to or blatently ignoring is not lying????
Drinking game alert for Biden smug smiling at every Ryan comment in a dismissive manner.
I'm stunned how the past 10 days of the presidential election have gone. Romney is using the same campaign strategy Obama used four years ago. I'm not wild about either candidate.
Did romney lie?
Muslim is dumb, should be impeached
Vote for the Mormon
Guantanamo Bay is still open, he used executive privilege so the dirt from the fast & furious wouldn't come to the surface and he won the Nobel Peace Prize for not doing jack shit. Granted the last one wasn't a failed campaign promise but I thought I'd bring it up
He promised Obamacare and did it. He promised to get us out of Iraq and did it.
Obama only kept 38% of his promises? Wow, he really is a liar
I could be wrong, but I believe most people oppose Obamacare. He also lied about the attacks in Libya being tied to some internet video
Promises Kept 38%
Compromised on 15%
In the works 21%
Promise Broken 17%
Here is another measurement from the same website you used. According to these stats, over half the claims made by Barry are either half truths, mostly false, or completely false:
are you voting for Obama again?
3 time POTW, member since 2006, MLWTI: 4-3
A lot of things they rated as in the works arent close to coming to fruition. Barry promised he would create 5 million green jobs in a 10 year period time. He is still a long way from accomplishing that goal, but they rated it as still in the works because it hasnt been 10 years yet
The only reason we are "out of Iraq" is there was no Joint Services treaty able to be negotiated by his bumbling foreign service appointees. A power vacuum was left that will lead to destabilization is already starting and like the problems at the US Embassy in Libya it is being pushed under a rug until people die.
Looks like another perfect day.
gotcha, what does he do that just wows you?
Years? We've only been out of Iraq for two years and it is becoming a country of armed regions. Look for a religious civil war situation to happen there within the next few years.
Nothing "should" be our problem but we have set ourselves up in a world economy that we must police and going isolationist and burying our heads in the sand just isn't going to work.
Mitt's scores on that meter are worse. Obama's mostly false, false and pants on fire categories total 28%. Romney, on the other hand, tallies 43%. If you factor in the half truths, Obama's at 54% and Romney's at 71%, The only categories in which Obama's score exceeds Romney's are mostly true and true, where he's +15%.
It's interesting to bring this up. Bush has blamed "faulty intelligence" on WMDs for invading Iraq. The press exploded, you libs and especially the current POTUS have said he lied. Now people are dead in Libya and Obama blames "faulty intelligence".
Karma's a bitch.
Are you really comparing what happened in Libya to Iraq?
Wow - I guess if you mean Iraq and not the Middle East - we are mostly out of Iraq - but very present in the Middle East
We are still in the Middle East and still racking up casualties.
We are still in Korea and Germany too. What do you think will get us away from racking up casualties?
I'd say not starting unnecessary wars in the first place, but we're kinda already past that point.
But the original circumstances are the same, both administrations used the same cop out and Obama having run on the issue of "Bush lied" is now caught in his own web..
and by the way ask the two guys families if they are less important because of their number.
So the Somalia incident with the Black hawk crashed is on the same level as WWII or Vietnam since those families were hurt too.... Glad that I know that.
For a president to grow a pair of balls and pull out of these countries completely and remove all US dependency from the picture. The US carries a huge wgt in foreign policy , but rarely do we throw our wgt around until countries directly attack us.
I guess Bush was a pussy since he didn't nuke Afghanistan then since we didn't throw our weight enough because that is what we did we did the last time we got directly attacked.
