You can fail field sobriety test and not get a DUI, it all depends on what happens once you get to the jail.
True, but they like to back those up with more objective tests like blood and urine

dood i'm ALL for legalizing it, did you not read the footnotes?
Like I said. You needs some serious learnin', son.
Legalize the sh** already, way safer then alcohol, cigs, and some legal meds. Everyone needs to smoke bowls IMO, the world would be way more relaxed.
Definitely NO!!! Most likely the dealers will lace it with crack and angel dust and get people hooked to other harmful substances. Of course the dopers want it legal so they can sit on the couch all day and eat junk food and laugh at things that aren't funny.
Sorry the absolute minority of the human race decides it's better to run around naked than go to school.
Yes: So it can be taxed at 39% and the tax revenue used as justification to lower income taxes.
Please explain further

Of course legalize it. Zero reason not to.
Please explain even further .
Let me edit it and read it again. I forgot a word and an ending to a word.
Bunch of potheads ITT
I sometimes wonder if our fundamental lack of care when it comes to things like grammar on the Internet is part of the reason kids are so stupid these days. They spend so much time in a space where we don't give a sh!t about using proper English.
Lolz. There won't be dealers.
People who want to smoke will just grow a plant in their back yard or buy them at the gas station.
Smokers don't by hand rolled cigarettes from a dude named "fifty" that lived next door to their older brother in college. Why would you expect that type of relationship to continue if weed was legalized.
:) I was joking. My name is Keep on Ducking(Grateful Dead reference) and I lived on the West coast for 19 years. Boulder, Colorado for a couple years, San Fran for a few years and Eugene for 14 years. I also own 100 acres in Southern Humboldt County, Ca. I'm on the frontline for the legalization of marijuana. I was shocked there wasn't any posts saying Nay so I wanted to see what the reaction would be. I'm on your side my man. In more ways then you can possibly imagine.

obviously it should be legalized. I have no idea where people get the idea that they should be able to go into other people's houses and tell them what they can and can't do with their own bodies. Criminalizing voluntary behaviors that don't harm others isn't a valid way to meet public health goals...and as millions of people itt have already pointed out, consumption of marijuana is far less dangerous to public health than myriad legal behaviors.
I can only think of one feasible intellectually consistent argument for keeping marijuana illegal, which would be if you had a fundamental moral problem with the recreational ingestion of intoxicating substances, and would also argue for banning alcohol, caffeine, large quantities of really tasty food, etc. But to that person, I would ask where government gets the right to impose their personal moral values on others who do not share those values...and if that didn't get through, I'd ask if they'd be OK with vegans passing a law against the consumption of animal products, or sexual conservatives passing a law against fornication.
I'm ALL for legalizing it and I've never taken a puff of anything in my life. Not a cig, cigar, pipe, pot, nothing....
I think the benefits far outweigh the drawbacks.
Yes, then I could get over my hangover easier
I dream of a day when chickens can cross the road without having their motives questioned.
Besides the Dead reference in your name...I know you are playing.
I think it's a law that you have to get high at least once a week in oregon ... at least that's want my dealer told me.
oregon was actually one of the 1st states to allow medical marijuana.
The RANT is a Romper Room for Degenerates - jwe
It should be universally legalized as a hangover cure if nothing else
