Who do you got winning?
Who would you want to win?
University of Alabama: The high mark of college football since 1892
Yeah Captain Marvel and Black Adam are pretty cool IMO
Deadpool would smoke Slender Man. And probably that douchebag Minecraft guy too.
If they are using The Dark Knight Rises as inspiration that Batman has to win. Just look at the quote that was posted earlier.
I would also want Batman to win.
Frank Miller has a very interesting style and it lends to very intense story telling.
Time and change will surely (truly) show
How firm thy friendship ... OHIO!
I really almost walked out when it revealed the Mandarines true character. Me and my brother looked at each other and at the same time said "I'm leaving". But I said fuck it lets see what that Hulkbuster does. All he does was exactly what he did in the previews. I was done then.
May be getting in over my head here, but had a curiosity piqued. When I used to collect comics (late 80s to mid 90s), all of my favorite guys (McFarland, Larson, Liefield, Lee and a few others) left Marvel and started Image comics. I collected all those for a few years before getting out of the habit, but I found those story lines and characters to be awesome (Youngblood, Shadowhawk, Spawn, and W.I.L.D.cats were my go tos, I think). I remember they had significant difficulty meeting deadlines to publish, but it appears (at least according to Google) that some of them are still around. My question is why are there no movies from Image (other than the Spawn abomination years ago)?
Roses are red, violets are blue, I'm a schizophrenic and so am I.
Pretty much this
I would guess because they just aren't as well known, and I imagine it is difficult to pitch a comic book movie that doesn't have at least a few characters that are somewhat well known. Everybody knows who Spider-Man, Batman, and Superman are, not so many people know about Witchblade, Youngblood or the others you listed. The more well known characters they have made comics about have been in movies ( such as G.I. Joe and Ninja Turtles) but those aren't their original material, they just put out some runs of each series.
I've got something to say! It's better to burn out than fade away!
I would say because of the source material and popularity. Image is adult oriented and deals with some extremely mature content. I fully expect them to break out on the big screen soon since comic book movies are all the rage right now. Image has some fantastic stories and characters, and is probably my favorite publisher besides Marvel. If you're interested in some Image titles I would be more than happy to recommend some.
What did you guys think of Kick Ass? And obviously the sequel that's coming out soon. I like Mark Millar and thought Kick Ass was entertaining.

I think it's going to be amazing. Big fan of Chloe Moretz (no pedo).
Kick-Ass was awesome. Kick-Ass 2 looks like it'll be awesome as well. Looks like Jim Carrey will crush the Captain Stars & Stripes role.
Huddles are for rookies.
I really enjoyed the first film. Will definitely watch the second.

After taking a breath, we consider some of the implications of Marvel's well-received Saturday night panel at Comic-Con.
The X-Men movies annoy me more and more every time I think about them.
Why? I understand you want everything to be in sync with the original material, but that just doesn't happen. You can still enjoy the films. What parts bother you?
I don't need everything to be in sync, but I think the overarching stuff needs to be there.
The most general answer would be, I hate the limited portrayal of Gambit and a lot of the games they play with the ages, primarily Bobby Drake and Colossus.
Not to mention, they're making the movies like there was zero planning going into it. Jumping around with the origin stories..etc.
It's just all weird and strange choice of continuities.
I prefer to have things in sync myself, but for the X-men I am not as nit picky. Mainly because there is quite a bit of wiggle room even in the comics when it comes to current powers of x-men and all of that. There are just piss poor plots and character choices in every movie since X-2. I am fine with them playing a bit with the ages to make things fit a little better, such as making Piotr and Kitty Pryde closer in age and Bobby Drake a little younger (since he was one of the first X-men in the comics), but to totally displace some of the characters like they did Gambit, and in Origins and first class to totally ignore their own movie universe creates inconsistencies and just weakens the effort quite a bit overall.
You can thank Fox for that. Deadpool was abused beyond recognition. It was almost painful.
Wolverine was one of the worst comic films to date.
I haven't really cared for any of the X-Men films.
I enjoyed the first one, X 2 and first class.
Oh I know, it was physically painful for me. I almost had an aneurysm when I went to see it. You know it is bad when after the fact the actor that played him said he would have walked away mid production if he could have.
