I guess this means ND/Michigan is back on earlier than expected.
Dream additions for the SEC add UNC and FSU.
Quite possibly the dumbest thing I've ever heard. The Big 10 sits in a position of power, there was nothing going on in the landscape to push this move yet somehow he is desperate? Just dumb statements from people who can't understand that Maryland is an attractive add to the Big10. DEALWITHIT

I think VT over fsu. Market share...and subscription $
FSU & Clemson it is time to dip goodbye to the ACC
If Fsu, GT, and Clemson jump ship then ND will have another decision to make.
fsufsu said... I've got about 10 great stories on Lane but all you need to know is he will never be a loser, that's for sure.
I also heard UNC/Duke could be on the BIG radar... Would UNC really leave the ACC?
I agree. They fit the mold of the B1G. They are not very good at football but they can be decent. It is a basketball school and a good academic institution. Also brings in a decent market that is untapped by the B1G.
All that said, it will not be looked at as a great addition by most because football is driving expansion and Maryland/Rutgers does little to add with regards to football...currently. From a financial standpoint, it is a solid addition though.
That would be interesting. Thye are locked at the hip and they would be the main ones fighting to keep tobacco road together by saving the ACC. If it is a forgone conclusion that the ACC is dead, they might not have another choice. The Big East will likely be looked at to replace Maryland/Rutgers and those options will likely be explored even if FSU/Clemson bolt. The problem is...what do they do to compenate for the reduced revenue from media rights?
A long ways from a done deal.
FSU doesn't even want to go to the Big 12 if they don't have to. It was a flirt to get SEC's attention.
Sadly, the problems in Nebraska are in the coaching offices and the fans that sit in the seats and defend them.
Already went there
It has been noted several times that UGA, UF and some others would block their biggest rival from joining SEC.
There was nothing going on because the SEC already made the move to 14. Delany's consistently one step behind.
I don't have to "deal with it." What do I care if Delany makes desperate decisions and adds a program that can barely field teams? More amusing than anything.
Find another second-rate conference that will give them a sweetheart deal. "Hello, Big 12!"
What the hell are you basing that on ?
Talks with 2 board members
One step behind? He was the first to create their network which allows them to print money. I am not a fan of Maryland on the field but they just opened up a huge new market and took the first step in bring down another conference.

WE RICH BITCH
Hahaha Maryland..I live in D.C. we all know the only football team the DMV cares about is the Redskins..no more Carolina and Duke for you scrubs.
Ravens are more popular than the Redskins in the DMV but other than that true.
Yeah, I'm 19.
@thedudeofwv on twitter has said the B12 reinitiated talks with FSU & Clemson a month ago.
