Im pretty excited for this years game
Mainly to watch Wiggins for the first time in a live action against the best type setting..... and Jabari Parker, who right now I think is better than Wiggins
Lots of talent in this years game
I think its wednesday night on ESPN or ESPN2
fsufsu said... I've got about 10 great stories on Lane but all you need to know is he will never be a loser, that's for sure.
Zak Irvin got snubbed. He should be here. It will still be a great game though, looking foward to see Wiggins as I haven't seen him play before other than highlights on youtube.
this thrad delivers

Chris Walker won the dunk contest last night. We're gonna have a great squad next year. An infusion of new, elite talent with the old vets and a lot of depth.
Not bad for a high schooler.
Check out the #1 player in high school with the CRAZY 360 reverse between the legs dunk to shut the gym down at the 2013 McDonald's All American Dunk Contest! However Wiggins came up short in the dunk contest to winner Chris Walker.
Wiggins has the killer instinct that separates himself from everyone.
Yea Wednesday night on espn at 930 ET.
The talent pool in this class is ridiculous. Aaron Gordon who committed to Arizona today is another athletic freak. Catch his hoops mixtape if you haven't already. Its gonna be kinda sloppy as always but definitely entertaining for sure
I actually read a SLAM article from a couple months ago where they asked him what separated him from his dad. Wiggins specifically cited that he lacks the killer instinct of his father. He plays aggressively and dunks on people all the time but the killer instinct is more than that.
I still think Wiggins is better though. But Jabari gets no love coming off the ankle injury. He's gonna be so good at Duke.
Then he's being modest go watch his video where he's going head to head against Randle. He's a killer. He's also more athletic and he's not physically maxed out yet.
I've seen it. It was in an AAU setting correct?
Yup that's it. I've seen him in person up here in Toronto too, and he just blew me away with how good he is and how good he can be going forward.
Parker is not better than Wiggins. Parker isn't even top 5 in my opinion.
I'm not the only one who doesn't have Parker as a top 5 player. I'd take Wiggins, the Harrisons, Randle and Gordon over Parker.
McDonalds All-Canadian game IYAM.
Wiggins is a boss.
Just curious but how much have you watched Parker play? And when was it? I saw him in a game this past winter and he looked terrible but he was also out of shape and still recovering from the ankle injury. But he's already 6'8" 230 coming out of high school and has a high IQ, all around game. I think anyone putting him below the top 5 in his class is judging him from a time where he wasn't even near 100%
The problem with Parker is he's not super athletic and he's already physically maxed out. He more of the Harrison Barnes quality, which is still a very good player, just not the level of the others. He's not big enough to play the 4 (In the NBA that is; I'm sure he could do it just fine in college if he wanted to) but he's also not the crazy athlete that Wiggins or Gordon are at the 3. Randle can play the 3 or 4 and has as good of inside/ outside game of anyone I've seen at this stage in their career in a while. I would put Wiggins, Randle, Gordon, and Andrew Harrison not Aaron above Parker.
Even in today's NBA athleticism isn't the end all be all of a players success. Perfect example is my guy Paul Pierce who's game is actually really comparable to Jabari Parker. Because they aren't the most cut guys and don't have the most explosive hops people mistake it for being unathletic. Parker won't be posterizing that many people but his athleticism is sufficient enough to let everything else about his game shine. Some guys are just great basketball players. Not everything they do is pretty or eye popping but they know what they can do and you can't really stop it. Jabari Parker is one of those guys. I think he's the second best player in the class and absolutely no worse than fourth.
Parker will be a very good player, I'm not knocking him at all, just think there are 4-5 guys better than him. I think Wiggins and Randle are clear one and two though, both are absolute animals. After that I could see you putting Harrison, Parker and Gordon in any order.
