One of my introductory journalism classes spent about a quarter of the semester going over misused words and expressions like that, and I subsequently became really OCD about stuff like that.
Huddles are for rookies.
Miz please tell me you took it at AU and the class was "newspaper fundamentals". I took that in the first summer minimester and instantly thought about it with your explanation of "affect" and "effect". That. Class. Blows.
Wait, you took it in the first summer minimester this summer?
And yes, that's the class I'm talking about.
Yes sir. Prof. Armstrong in Tichenor at 11:30.
Yeah dude, I was totally in that class.
No urb. No he isn't.
or is he?....is my response
ECU grad, tOSU fan for life. Father since 1/12/13.
He was only a T-Freshman.
Without self-knowledge there is no individuality
Sounds like Urban is attending the Fred Jackson School of Hyperbole
He is not. He is comparing him to two great college QBs who went on to be 1st round draft picks. He needs to just coach and have osu better than the way he left the Florida program and quit making comments like that.
As a true freshman, Troy still didn't have a position. Brax is light-years ahead of where Troy was at the same stage in his career.
To watch his highlights as freshman in a predictable, pre-historic offense and come away saying he is a "poor man's" anything just comes off as jealous/ignorant, IMO. I seriously doubt there are many teams in America who wouldn't love to have Braxton Miller on their team.
Not saying he's better than Tebow, Newton, or anyone else at this point..but come on you have to give the kid SOME credit.
Top OSU for years to come. With Urban Meyer's new offensive scheme, defenses won't look forward to seeing him for the next 2-3 years.
Christ, you're a disgrace to Johns Creek.
Y'all should become bffs
John Stamos! Did we just become best friends?!?
Tebow (2007): 3286 passing yards, 32 TDs. 895 rushing yards, 23 TDs
Newton (2010): 2854 passing yards, 30 TDs. 1473 rushing yards, 20 TDs
I swear a teacher at AU told me that.
totally agree - gotta show it on the field before making any kind of statements like that
And two of those John Heisman mini-statue thingies ...
Even if you're a homer.. No way you can agree with this.. But I understand sticking up for your coach

Danielle Hunter, Jamario Rasco, Anthony FREAK Johnson.. DL wrecking crew of 2013.
Theres an Auburn education joke in there somewhere.
The entire quote..
"Braxton Miller is dynamic. He’s the most dynamic athlete I’ve ever coached."
Doesn't necessarily mean he's better. Meyers not that stupid.
Damn, more dynamic than Percy Harvin?... So when he's in a kids living room, does he now say "You could be the next Braxton Miller" instead of "You could be the next Percy Harvin"?
