little bit of hype me thinks ...kid has to be pretty dat gum good for Myers to be hyping like that
We don't yet know what his legacy will be when its all said and done, none of us. But people overanalyzing the quote from Meyer are just trying to ruffle feathers.
Bottom line is Braxton is a dynamic player and Meyer is just trying to show his faith in him. End of story.
Time and change will surely (truly) show
How firm thy friendship ... OHIO!
Not disagreeing with you here, but its premature for Meyer to already say Braxton is the most dynamic player he's coached. Kid hasnt even started a full season yet.

I don't get all the hype for Braxton Miller. From his own coach, I can understand that, but the media types are blowing this guy like he's an All-American already. Maybe he does have all this amazing talent and ability, but it hasn't been realized yet. So maaaaaaaybe just tone it down a little bit. MSU was the best defense he faced last year, and here was his stat line:
5/10 for 56 yards
Not exactly the stuff of greatness.

Braxton has a real shot at being a great college qb, this will be a very important and telling year.
Our quarterback does front flips, suck it.
Yeah it's just coach speak.. Coaches talk up their players all the time.. People just take shots at the power schools all of the time.
Danielle Hunter, Jamario Rasco, Anthony FREAK Johnson.. DL wrecking crew of 2013.
i think meyer is going on natural ability not stats from last yr...the kid was a 18 yr old true frosh....
this yr he will be good and the next 2 he could be great....
he is a perfect morph of t pryor and troy smith...he throws better then pryor and runs better then smith....
but, time will tell....i do agree with you about waiting and seeing how he does in the spread before we build an altar in his honor
It was also during a downpour most of the game and Jim Bollman was his OC. Pair him with a coach who knows how to utilize his skillset and give him a qb coach who didn't used to be a audio video nerd and you might have a recipe for success with Miller.
great vid norsk!
the kid has some great instincts...
my fave is the run against um, he made that defender whiff, bigtime!
He runs better than Pryor too
he wouldn't let his players pose in the Playboy All-American magazine edition, he said, "Cause you can't play football with an erection."
Meh, I don't know about "great." I think his ceiling is more Terrelle Pryor than it is Cam Newton. We shall see.
hmmmmm, not sure i agree with that one...he looks to have better quickness and moves then pryor, but good ol t.p was a beast to take down...and the speed for a guy that size is very rare....
hope ur right tho!
at the end of the day, if he can play smart, run and throw when warranted, he will help us win many games!
Cliff notes anyone?
Pryor was 31-4 with 3 B1G titles and 2 BCS Bowl wins including a Rose Bowl and Sugar Bowl MVP's and 3-0 vs Michigan. Don't act like he wouldn't be the greatest QB in Spartan History with numbers like that.
basically urbs is crazy and putting mad pressure on a kid that probably won't end up in TT's or CN's class

You should prepare yourself to live with the consequences of your decisions, whatever they may be.
Sounds about right...
And despite all of that, he was merely a good, not great QB. Cam Newton, he was not. Do you disagree?
big 10 was complete crap when Pryor played there and still is.
Was he Cam Newton or Tim Tebow? No, but he was also handcuffed by the staff. He was better than just good though.
And still beat PAC 10 Champion Oregon and SEC Arkansas?
F Ohio. Tebow could throw when he was a freshman. Hell ray Charles was/is better than braxton. Suck it
I'm not putting him up there with established guys, I just think he has a chance at it, and this year will answer more questions.
Arkansas lost that game.
Oregon is overrated.
I think brax could be scary good in Meyers system.
