I don't want to get too far off track with the typical bickering, but I need to bring some real business into this thread. Treadwell......how does this effect his standing with Michigan? I thought he was suppose to be a heavy lean, what now?
Our quarterback does front flips, suck it.
Where does it say he burnt Burrows?
Well, Treadwell's suddenly planning a visit to Ann Arbor...
Gotcha, now back to our regularly scheduled program; Michigan sucks, York Sucks, Go Blew.....stuff like that.
The timing of this visit is very interesting...
Go Blue and Go Titans!
Looks like you had to settle for not getting Massington.
by getting treadwell?
Go Blue & Gig Em'!
One post is obsession? Damn that's a stupid comment.
If you get Treadwell, that'll be a good pickup. What about Stringfellow?
I'd actually say the stupid comment was this one:
"Looks like you had to settle for not getting Massington"
You miss out on a target that you and every one of your fans wanted, and all of a sudden offer a WR that wasn't in the picture before.
Sounds like a direct correlation there.
I realize that you probably don't follow midwest recruiting much, but York was an unknown until he showed up at two recent camps and was uncoverable. His highlight tape comes out and is impressive. Takes a visit to Michigan, Michigan offers, the next day the kid commits to Michigan. This is more of York's name getting out there and the coaches seeing it, than it has to do with a kid committing somewhere else.

Every one of our fans wanted Massington? That's news to me.
Well the fact that Massington had never visited, it was unrealistic to expect him in Michigan's class.
Daniels, Stringfellow, and Devin Allen will probably be among the WR prospects we still recruit after Treadwell commits. However, our class is going to be full soon, so it's important that these guys try to set up a visit.
It might have been a factor, but it wasn't a direct factor. I think York's recent performances at camps probably had a bigger bearing on it.
Btw ducksworth, why are you arguing with this offer/commit being a direct response to the interest level of other WRs?
You made that exact post on Michigans board.

This pickup doesn't affect anything with Treadwell. Michigan is taking 2 receivers other than Treadwell. 1 more receiver position is open, and Treadwell set up a late visit to Michigan this weekend. Hmmmm...
As for York, it's a good pickup. He's your prototypical B1G Receiver. Big, nice frame, and is a possession receiver.

11 National Titles | 42 Conference Titles | 3 Heisman Winners | 78 All-Americans | 37 College Hall of Fame Members
So future All Big Ten.
Obviously he lacks SECspeed.
He's only a 3 star so he probably sucks.
So, are you guys taking 3 or 4 WR's this class?
3 in total. 1 more spot open.
Treadwell has set up a last minute visit this weekend, so put 2 and 2 together...
