Need to make a statement tomorrow in Madison.
Gotta foul that fool as soon as he catches it, at the end of regulation. Cant let that shot leave his hands.
Agreed. Tough to win on the road in the B1G. Michigan still controls its own destiny.
True, but players aren't perfect. You can find dozens of mistakes during the game on both sides. McGary could learn to make am uncontested layup, for example. We lost a close game on the road to a good team. We are not perfect, but we are as good as any team in the country.
I was watching/listening to the game while at a cheer competition. Should McGary have went up strong for a dunk on that missed layup or was he out of position for that?
He's had a tendency to lay it in instead of dunking it. I'm not sure about that play specifically, but he needs to be more assertive around the tin. He's been a beast for us though, certainly not going to complain about anything he does, because he's been the best freshman the last week.
Stauskas and Robinson need to show some toughness, they have been ghosts on the road. They need to show up on Tuesday if Michigan wants to win in Breslin.
That said, what a freaking mircle Wiscy pulled.
Yea, not going to complain about McGary's overall game. He has been solid for a freshman.
GR3 is playing himself into coming back for another year. Stauskus is a different player on the road. Typical for a freshman but frustrating with a kid with as much potential as he/they have.
It's more understandable for Stauskas than it is Robinson. His confidence is so low right now, he's not even looking to attack off the dribble ever. He had 1 take today and he had an easy lay in.
Like you said, not uncommon for a freshman. Really hope our young guys will have figured this thing out by touney time.
Hardaway is getting back that killer late game instinct he had for us his freshman year. He should have the last shot every time.

He could have dunked it. But it was an easy layup, too. I'm not blaming McGary for the loss, but in a close game you can go back and find any number of things to blame the loss on. I mean Brust's (sp??) half court shot was insane. The game should have been over right there. If the UM team learns anything from this game, it should be to step on the throat and snap your opponent's neck when you have them down. If you are up by four, you should fight to get the lead up to eight. If you are up by eight, you must continue to scratch and claw to get it to twelve. Destroy your opponent. No lead is ever big enough in cbb.
This needs a bump in recognition of tonight's slugfest. Lets . Need the perfect plan an execution.
Go Blue and Go Titans!
40 points in the paint = Sparty is soft
Oops ... there were so many, I must have lost count!

Burke beasted at the end.
big win, HAIL!
Coach B has won 4 of the last 6 against Coach Izzo despite having lesser talent for most of those games. Looks like there's a new sheriff in town in the State of Michigan.
THJ is now 4-2 lifetime against the Spartans.
That steal from Appling was sick.
What a finish. As you said, that steal by Burke was sick.

21 pts, 4 reb, 5 stl (including the two that saved the W), 1 blk, 8 ast, 2 to ... seems like POY territory to me.
