"Never mind for a moment which college-football team is No. 1 on the field. Is Texas losing its grip on being No. 1 at the bank?
According to an annual analysis of the values of college-football programs, Texas remains the most valuable team in the sport. But the gap is narrowing: The Longhorns—whose 2011-12 valuation is $761.7 million—now are only slightly ahead of Michigan ($731.9 million)."

"Texas still generates the most revenue in college football, but Michigan's valuation surged 18% over the year before because of improved cash flow, Brewer said. Texas' valuation fell by 5%. As for Monday night's title-game combatants: Notre Dame ranked fourth in the financial study ($597.4 million); Alabama was eighth ($476.0 million)."

Is UM worth more than the state of Michigan?
To be fair, the state has to account for the liability that is MSU.
Ryan Brewer, an assistant professor of finance at Indiana University-Purdue University Columbus
Yes, darn that 21st ranked school in Revenue
Don't worry you'll get to 9-4 soon enough.
If you guys need a loan or anything to renovate that run down Shoe, you just give us a call, ok?
Speak up boy, you're as quiet as your stadium on a Saturday.
An you're as funny as the fake heart attack your HC had to escape Nick Saban and the SEC.
Urban is going to give Brady Hoke a heart attack after we stomp you into the ground at that shit bowl you call a stadium. The seat is going to warm up for Hoke after hes 0-2 against Urban.
To be fair, our stadium is not the one shaped like a toilet.
Yeah but your stadium is just a big, underground shit hole.
Look what the cat dragged in.
You will be shedding Braxton Miller esque tears when we lay a beat down on you guys in the Big House next year.
Maybe not but I still took a dump on one of your seats a couple years ago
Hahaha. Year 2 in Urbs offense, with Jordan Hall back from injury, all of our OL back except Fragel. Add in talented Freshman like Baugh and Marshall, and our offense is going to be on another level. I think Braxton is going to be keeping Mattison and Hoke up at night..
lol at Missouri. What a joke!

You must be very proud.
I'm so scurred.
Yours just smells like it
Good days, bad days --- always a Buckeye. Time to begin the assault on the 2014 BCS National Championship
You should be! Urbans going to run that score up too
Sounds like maybe you sat in fishdidy's seat (see above).
What makes you say that? You couldn't run up the score @home, against a QB starting his 4th game, when Michigan didn't score a point in the 2nd half.
Not sure what evidence you are using to back your claims, but they don't seem likely.
Thread should have been named "What's your team worth?"
Would have went a lot better, more replies, less trolling, more straight up trash talk.
Nah, never been in the "Pig House"
Probably the money from all those extra jerseys the team keeps trotting out in!
Because our offense is going to be way better.
