That's a very good point.
Bammer is the best blue blood.
Speaking of one, that's the number of football national championships Michigan has won in the last 60 years.
Wow ... it's pretty pathetic that it's taken you 60 years to almost catch up.

These blue blood vs blue blood arguments are pointless. To say one blue blood is better than another blue blood is ridiculous.
We're all blue bloods for the same reason. In the end there's really no comparing.
Apples and oranges IMO.
Yeah, those 8 national titles pre-WWII are impressive.
When it comes to college football, the true bluebloods are Harvard/Yale/Princeton/Michigan/
Agree. It's damn impressive.
No doubt. Dominating the 1900-1920 era then living off of it for the next 90 years has to be pretty fun.
Hell, one could argue Minnesota, Michigan State, and Ohio State have all been better programs the last 75 years than Michigan.
You two are acting like little bundles of sticks. The numbers say that USC and Bama are great. Leave it at that.
Yes two schools that haven't been to a rose bowl since I've been alive are better programs than Michigan...give me a break.
edit: i dont think you can see the thread tough

One could argue any crazy ass thing, which is why we have Sparty fans. And, apparently, Alabama fans.
I'm with Mcgoober on this one, this is getting silly. What we should be arguing is with teams like Penn State and telling them why they're NOT a blue blood. One poster said he thought they were. Well needless to say I lol'd...
Wow I really, really wish that I hadn't left for spring break already and still had my computer. Washington was on the list of 17 by the way. Arizona state? You've gotta be kidding me. And putting Ohio state on your list? Regardless of games played, this argument began with conferences. You can't all of the sudden bring in outside teams. There is so much awful logic in your post that I couldn't possibly address it all on mobile. I am very confident that sometime over the course of the week and a half that I won't have a computer, you will produce a very long analysis that fails to refute any of my actual arguments or facts. It will only change the parameters to fit your goals, just as this post of yours that I've quoted did. You refuse to admit you're wrong on any point. Instead, you move to a new one. It may make you feel better, but it hardly qualifies as good debate and it's a waste of everyone's time.
Yeah I can't see it, that sucks.
you should start a petition
That proves my point. You'll never address a valid argument that is placed in front of you. You'll just change the parameters to suit your needs. I'm done going back and forth with you. Consider it an E-victory for yourself if it helps you sleep at night. I'm off to enjoy my spring break rather than waste it arguing with a USC fan who can't stand that his program is lost in the desert while Alabama's has cemented its status as the greatest college football program of all time.
Nattys >> Rose Bowls
Because msu had more titles in the 50s and 60s (and a few of them are basically made up) but sucked for the next 40 years, they have a better overall program?
Dude doesn't care what you're talking about. He is just trolling Michigan fans. Michigan fans were exhibiting too much pride for his liking and felt the need to bless us with his bammer wisdom on how not awesome Michigan is. That is all..
What you eat, don't make me shit.
Sucks knowing Michigan peaked in 1948 huh?
Nah, I'd say things have been trending down since 97 but you obviously know better cause you've got that super bammer insight, huh?
There are many measurables that could be used to determine which program is the greatest of all time...while Alabama fits some, it does not in others...this could be said about the other blue bloods mentioned.
All of the top programs have been "lost in the desert" for varying lengths and eras of their history, including Alabama. How quickly you forget.
