Lulz, hurley is an expert on Michigan football.
BOL is calling you.
Not flaming, but Denard is a very unimpressive passer. What do you think will be UM's strategy on offense?
November 26, 2011- Deanrd Robinson had one of the best statistical games in the history of the rivalry between Michigan & Ohio State.
Stats- 14 of 17(82.4%) for 167 yards & 3 TD, QB Rating of 223.1. 26 rushes for 170 yards(6.5 yds per) & 2 TD.
Do you truly believe he'll be able to run on Alabama like that?
I don't. I think he will able to run decently though.
To say Denard isn't impressive is asinine. It means you probably watched Denard twice this year. Against VT and against ND.
He was terrible those games no denying that, when Denard is throwing the ball well, he's essentially unstoppable.
I know he's a terrific runner. His passing surprised me against ND but I dont see him with over 70 yards rushing against a D that has a stop run first mentality
It depends. Ohio put a spy on him because they were afraid he was going to torch them with his runs. That gave him time in the pocket. So he went 14-17, 167 yards and 3 TDs. Oh he also ran for 170 yards and 2 TDs.

ND and VT were his two worst passing performances.
Does Alabama rely on the front 7 to stop the run or do they consistently roll up a safety for run support?
Well I have no idea, nor will I try to predict his yardage. But one mistake from Bama and he's gone.
I think Borges plan will be passing first to hopefully soften Bama's run defense.
That's the thing with Denard. It takes just one mistake from a defender and he has 70 yards. Fill the wrong gap, take the wrong angle and he is gone.
See Vinnie Sunseri...or CJ Mosely
btw, you never know wat we might run next on D. Its too complex to just say roll up a safety or rely on front 7...

We have some speed everywhere that will surprise you. Denard may have a step on alot of Big 10 Ds but our front 7 is big and quick and our DBs are solid tacklers as well.
But I am willing to sig bet, along with the game sig bet that we will most likely have, that Denard has less than 70 yards rushing. I'm tempted to say 50 but I think he gets one good run of 20+ off
Meant to say that last two minutes of that ND game. Thought y'all were screwed
Denard has a step on NFL defenses let's be real here.
If you play solid contain I would say under 50 (including sacks). But I also think if you are selling out on Denard, Toussaint can have a solid game.
One wrong angle...with 3 right behind him
Yeah, I was at that game. I was actually hoping Denard would get pulled through the first 3 quarters.
This has potential. You have a Denard sig if he gets it, I have a Bama LBers sig if he doesn't.
If denard has 50 yards rushing then that must mean we are up four touchdowns
Yea we could do something along those lines. Or Denard breaking a Bama tackle or Denard getting smacked.
We can figure out the details through the summer
I would take that bet in a heartbeat. He has a decent chance of a 70+ single run in every game he suits up in.
I am on board.
If Michigan scores 21 ill be surprised
