What is the all time record? This Bama class has a good shot at having EIGHT. Has this ever been done before? Maybe those USC classes of Pete's but I doubt it
10 Major Poll National Titles (CFB record)
35 Bowl Wins (CFB record)
72 Wins over last 6 years (CFB record)
Where are you getting 4 more from. I gave you Bell but Tunsil is maybe the only other one.
USC had 8 in 04
yea i thought they may have had that many.We should get close to 8 but i dont know.

Without self-knowledge there is no individuality
Opportunity for Bell, Foster, Tunsil, Vanderdoes, and Conner. However, out of those I'd only say Bell as real possibility and perhaps Vanderdoess since we get his last visit.
Don't know who we will get, but that is the group he is referring to.

M. Thomas rumors are picking up steam. Tos has been talking about it.
Wouldn't give him Vonn Bell
If we could simply get a dominant DE, that's all I want.
We won't get Foster, Tunsil, Vanderdoes or Connor. Vanderdoes is our best shot out of the four and it's a long one. I saw someone else mention Thomas but I think he's a Miami lock personally.
Foster: UGA or AU
Vanderdoes: Bama, ND or USC but I think ND gets him
Connor: Ole Miss and I don't think this is even close
Thomas: Miami, see above
We are going to have a real good recruiting class regardless. Saban staying at Bama and saying that the NFL is out for all time in his career was our biggest pick up for sure. I do think that we are going to get Bell for sure and don't think that is as close as UT and OSU want to make it seem.
Just my opinion.

With 32 5*s it's not the same as in the past
Yea but great players are great players. No difference between 32 and 33 or 20 and 21.
+1 to RATT, sorry I grouped you like I did I was wrong.
And I'm sure if devidee was here he'd point out the Corch Urbs has never recruited anyone less than a 5*
what do you guys think the chances are for Ole Miss landing Nkemdiche, Treadwell, Connor, and Eljah Daniels? All 5 stars
BOL staff stated that Thomas was most likely a U lock.
Think Thomas likes Bama a little more than the staff likes him. A 205 pound LB isn't exactly the prototypical LB recruit in our system, even though they want more Mosely types.
I'd say he falls in the category Smart was referring to here:
“We certainly have player descriptions, player profiles that we want, and if guys don't fit that certain description, they may be a five‑star great player, and there are examples of that this year all over the country where everybody is like, why aren't y'all recruiting him? Or he calls us and has great interest, we're just not interested because we recruit to a certain standard. We say we want the guy to be this tall, this big. Does that mean there's not exceptions? Sure, there's exceptions to the rule, but we don't want a team full of exceptions.”
But, I could be wrong...
There are probably (almost certainly, really) a few guys in this years class that are 3-4*'s that they feel are 5* talents, at least in our system.
being in the same division as Manziel, our staff will go after a couple of these type guys that we wouldn't years before.
Yea the formula is there ... I watched his game vs us again the other day and could not believe he turned it around to win the Heisman. When he was matched with speed on the field he looked pretty regular.
Pretty sure I said that (basically), but Thomas is on the smaller side even compared to guys like Mosely.
I mean, he did improve over the course of the season... not that LSU's D isn't better equipped to deal with him, but still.
Don't ever apologize to a gump, we hate them
