LSU , They won't make it past the 25 this time ...

I could definitely see tOSU losing 4-5 games this year.
UGA looks pretty damned stacked though, and no Bama - LSU - Arky? Richt would have to poop the bed big time to screw this up.
Michigan State does not and will not run the 3-4 defense.
Stealing Sparty's recruits and owning them on the field since 1898
Agree. I also pick my own team. Michigan is very overrated this year. They have a tough schedule, and are extremely weak in the trenches. Too many fans ignore the significance of having solid trench play.
They end 8-4 +/- one game.
I'm not saying that I think they will have a bad record, but when they play good teams in the Conference Championship or the bowl game I think they'll get crushed.

This is Michigan, fergodsakes.
I wouldn't be surprised, they have a much tougher schedule this year.

They aren't extremely weak in the trenches, in fact the offensive line could improve from last year and the defensive line just got much more athletic. We'll see, but it is in no way "weak."
Michigan. They'll finish 9-3 or 8-4 and will be late teens to early 20s.
OL is one of the strongest poitions on the team. DL is definitely a concern though, but we have 3 respected DL coaches so we'll see.

I think the OL is in fact better than last year, however, the loss of Martin and Van Bergen won't be easily hidden by making the DL more athletic. I'm just hoping that improved play in Michigan's secondary and Linebackers cover it up.
Does your mother know you talk like this?
Only thing people need to know about Richt, is he lost to Dan Hawkins once at Colorado and needed a miracle in Athens to keep from losing twice. Dude is a habitual bed-sh!tter.
Agree w this. Lost their best player (Broyles) and some key D leadership; and not sold on the new DC (Stoops).
For the FSU haters, why? (If you plan on referring to the Bowden teams on the 00s, please refrain from posting and save 247 server space.)
James Wilder avatar... Ironic?
I saw tOSU was ranked in the top ten somewhere and it made me laugh. However, on the other end of the spectrum, it's laughable that you think they'll lose 5 games this year. The Big Ten sucks this year. What 5 teams are supposed to beat them? Back to the topic at hand, I guess my prediction for overrated teams would be the Big Ten as a whole. We're very weak this coming season. UM has a lot of retooling to do on their D-line, Wisconsin is breaking in a new coaching staff and starting QB, MSU lost almost all their offensive playmakers, tOSU is implemeting a brand new system and breaking in several new starters on the offensive line, and Nebraska lost a lot of defensive playmakers. Whoever wins the Big Ten better hope USC is playing in the National Championship Game. Otherwise, the Rose Bowl is gonna get ugly in a hurry. Just this dude's opinion...
Not a flame at all because I haven't watched you guys play much recently so I don't know the talent level, but I did see the size comparison in our O-Line vs your guys D-Line and I can see some of your guys getting picked up and thrown into the dirt by guys like Warmack, Flucker , Jones and CK . If I remember correctly one of your DE's was like 250lbs vs Fluker who is 335lbs.
How about if USCw is in the Natty game and Oregon is in the Rose Bowl, .
two good picks right there.
Would add Wisconsin. Lost the braintrust on offense but have seen them in some preseason top 10s. No way.
Cal, Nebraska, @Wisconsin, @MSU, @PSU, UM could all beat tOSU this year. If the Purdue game was in WL, then that could be another possible L.
I really think it comes down to motivation; if tOSU loses a game or two early, what are the guys really playing for? I'm not denying tOSU's talent here, but we've seen plenty of good teams falter after their NC/conference hopes are dashed. In this case, tOSU is pretty much playing for honor or an undefeated season. Lose to Cal or MSU early and the undefeated season is gone.
I'm not discounting pride, but when you're going up against decent to good teams who have the Rose Bowl on the line, it's not inconceivable that they'll have that extra half a step on tOSU.
For a WDE, that isn't terrible, I have seen much worst. This should be the starting Dline,
NT: Will Campbell, 322lbs.
DT: Jibreel Black, 280lbs.
SDE: Craig Roh, 280 lbs.
WDE: Brennen Beyer, 250 lbs.
DT, SDE, and WDE are all projected weights based off of what their target weights for this fall are. Biggest undersized spot it DT, but his quickness was giving the offense fits in the Spring.
That requires Fluker to be able to actually get his hands on the guy. Speed rushers make plays by getting past the OL, not trying to overpower guys 80 pounds bigger than they are. Heights and weights are fun to toss around, but give me a 295 pound OT that can move over a 330 pound plodder any day of the week. Power counts for something, but technique matters more.

I know one thing, if this FSU team play Colorado anywhere on earth this season we'd win by 50.
That would be a hold. That 250 lbs DE is also an athletic freak who will blow by 335 lbs Fluker.
