The neighboring towns of Belle Glade and Pahokee, Florida, despite having a combined population of roughly 25,000, will have five natives playing in the Super Bowl. Anquan Boldin and Pernell McPhee are graduates of Pahokee HS, while Deonte Thompson, Ray McDonald, and Damien Berry are all graduates of Glades Central HS.

Sick amount of talent from that area.
Well, South Florida in general. The most talented area I go to annually.

The Muck isn't the same anymore, Gerry. Pahokee has sucked since Nu'keese left and Belle Glade is producing one or two low D1 athletes every year with a few exceptions (Benjamin, Taylor, etc). Crime and poverty taking over.
That or they've caught all the rabbits in the cane fields.
SN: McDonald and Thompson representing us proudly.
You from down here?
Yep. Agree on the Muck right now.
I grew up an hour away from Belle Glade, when Glades Central was seemingly unstoppable. Those were some beasts out there
Kelvin Taylor doesn't count imo, he plays for Glades Day which is not really the Muck imo
fsufsu said... I've got about 10 great stories on Lane but all you need to know is he will never be a loser, that's for sure.
Caleb Brantley will tell you that The Muck runs strong in Taylor's blood
Yeah but Caleb Brantley is still concussed from Denson smacking him upside his anus
Kelvin Taylor lives in a rich suburb of Ft. Lauderdale.. he's not a true muck boy
Correct, Dundee is tripping on Taylor and has been all year
Kid is average at best and certainly not goon certified
What's good, BT?
I'm not, but my favorite college football player ever, former Iowa QB Brad Banks, is a Glades Central grad. I've taken an interest in athletes from the area over the past few years.
Have you seen this ?
If not you will enjoy it
NFL players Santonio Holmes (Steelers) and Fred Taylor (Jaguars) discuss growing up and playing football in the Muck City area of Florida. Visit http://nicepickcowher.com for more cool vids
I have. Pretty interesting stuff. There's a book about Muck City football that came out this fall that I'm hoping to get to soon.
