The entire white race other than me it seems is completely obsessed with this band. Someone please convince me what all the hullabaloo is about, because frankly I just don't get it.
Standing on a hill in my mountain of dreams,
Telling myself it's not as hard as it seems - Led Zeppelin
I think they're great.. but I have loved their music for years
I hate that it's catching on.
Golden is better then Jimbo... I feared it was true. He is going to hoist a crystal ball there - fsufsu
They are good musicians, but i don't get into it
I'll pretty much listen to and appreciate any band or performer that puts everything they have into every song. Mumford does this. Similar to Glen Hansard, Damien Rice, the late Jeff Buckley, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, North Mississippi All Stars, Jim James, and more.
Roses are red, violets are blue, I'm a schizophrenic and so am I.
Seconded. They suck balls.
Drop a neutron bomb on Lumineers & Sons at Red Rocks w Dave Mathews and the world instantly becomes a better place.
No doubt, but I just can't get into them. I've tried several times and just can't.
Jesus knows who down votes him
I liked them way before you dood. Like before they became commercial and stopped playing cool blue grass festivals in rural Tennessee and renaissance fairs and stuff
They're catching on because 1) the crappy Grammy's is acknowledging them and 2) producers for American Idol d-bags completely ripped them off and struck commercial gold with that Make This Place Your Home song that's on 3 out of every 4 tv commercials.
would love to know who this guy listens to
Teein' Off on Links
I'm a fan of them. I guess I'm just another average white guy.
In all seriousness though I like all kinds of bands sort of similar but I just can't get into MS, and I've tried multiple times. Lord Huron has been my go to for awhile, and they're really honky.

Pretty much anything, provided it doesn't suck.
Right now I've got a Clash/Jack White/Stones/Strokes/Jay Z thing going on. What I'm listening to when I run anyway
Was hoping for Kesha/Beiber/Miley/Gaga type list. For the lulz...
Im Pro that whole list, except JayZ is wearing on me. I've been listening to Fitz & The Tantrums alot.
Mumford and Sons is decent I guess but I'm not excited about them or anything. Not worthy of a Grammy, but that award show is for tools anyway.
It's hit or miss with most people I consider to have good musical taste when it comes to Mumford. What I don't like is crappy pop music fans liking them.
I'm more into either what I've come to call white people blues (at least blues influenced rock music, classic or contemporary). But also folk type music like Mumford, Avett, or classic rock-wise The Band. The Band is like a mixture of both I guess.
They suck ass
Meh. I started listening to them back in summer of 2009 so it's not like they were on commercials yet.

Feeling you on Fitz and Jay-Z becoming tiresome. Fitz I just can't run to.. And that's mostly when I'm listening to music lately.
I've seen Kesha live, btw. Backstage maximum gayness included. My GF's friend is pals w her manager or some convoluted whatever. Top 10 most painful experiences in my life. Easily.
Fitz & the Tantrums are the ish, sons. I'm eagerly awaiting they're second album whenever that may be.
She was on Jimmy Fallon a few nights ago. What a painful performance. I wanted to shoot myself for watching, but I couldnt change the channel until it was done. I think it's because I want her to fail so badly that I accept the cost of watching her so I can see her meltdown or something. She apparently she has a new show on MTV coming soon. I DO refuse to watch that.
I'm not sure why everyone likes them because they play music people usually don't flock to. I like them because I enjoy that type of music, but I have really weird musical taste.
That's just it...there is no real reason I shouldn't like Mumford, as I like a lot of similar artists. Just from who you named for example, I like The Avett Bros & I absolutely love The Band (The Last Waltz discs are in my six cd changer in my whip at all times), but I just don't care for Mumford. Multiple friends of mine whose musical taste I respect like them, but then several don't as well.
Try meeting her man. You won't be able to draw solid wood for six months.
She's a talentless, sloppy train wreck and her ass looks like chewed bubble gum. If I ever hear Tick Tock again I will absolutely go on a shooting spree.
am I the only one who had to google Mumford and Sons? Apparently I'M oblivious
