Primus covering Rush's "La Villa Strangiato" live. Good stuff.
Primus La Villa Strangiato Live in Berkeley, CA May 30, 2004. Hallucino-genetics Tour
La Villa is a great instrumental. Lifeson's guitar solo is awesome, can only imagine what Claypool and Co. would do with it.

All-seeing instrument. Supreme perception. Omnifocal accumulator... Its gaze upon the blind. Information divinity by man designed.
I agree 100%. The range of emotions and sound Lifeson takes the listener through in La Villa is incredible. It's a top 5 instrumental for me.
People may talk about YYZ more but just watching Mike Portnoy from Dream Theater and Kirk Hammet from Metallica talk about LVS it was the definition of early progressive metal at its best.
Freaking amazing show. If the Revival Tour comes to your area go.
I will upload some videos tomorrow.
great to know , thanks and look forward to the videos +
What shows does everyone have lined up this summer? Aussie, is the Revival Tour the acoustic show you mentioned a few days ago?
The Opeth/Mastodon show is the only one in the near future for me at the beginning of May.
I'm seeing that show too, two of my favorite bands in the 'metal' area... I have been on an Opeth streak lately
I'm hoping Rush gets to this part of Canada sometime this summer/fall as they are releasing their newest album Clockwork Angels at the end of May. I saw them about 5 years ago and would like to see them at least once more before they call it quits.
I don't know specifics but I am moving about 2 hours from Denver, so I am definitely seeing some show at Red Rocks.
The last month I've seen Radiohead in Atlanta and Jack White in Bham. I also just got tickets to see Beach House in Bham on May 11th.
No problem. I am still loving put your back n 2 it. Definitely making my end of the year list.
Deserve got nothing to do with it...
Right now I have tickets for Wilco, Washed Out and Beach House. Hopefully more come around. Recently saw Radiohead, Frank Turner (opened for Dropkick Murphys) and Sleigh Bells.
I would love to see a show there. Seems like an awesome atmosphere. Thanks for the classical stuff, had it playing while working the other day.

Album: I love you, it's cool

Saw these guys when they opened for MMJ. Been playing this album today, good stuff.
Check out Delta Spirits new single, California: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z3gRn3_9p8w
Cool, that looks like an interesting venue... have seen a few DVD's. I imagine they get some big names coming through
I hit a Radiohead show too (and just got more tickets for later this summer)... and I saw the black keys 2 weeks ago. Jack White would be a good show I'll have to keep an eye on that
What do you think of the new Wilco? I think that would be a nice laid back show. Best for a small venue. I bet Sleigh Bells was a crazy show
