I would like to see a top SEC defense against a top offense. Offense isn't exactly a strength in the SEC.
Michigan is averaging 31.6 pts per game this year.
Ohio State is averaging 36.8 pts per game this year.

We'd be averaging in the 40s if we played your schedule.
If Brady Hoke had tits...
You can't have more than two teams from one conference in BCS bowls. LSU would have to replace either South Carolina or Alabama. They can't replace FSU (assuming FSU didn't win their conference).
So, you think Michigan State, Nebraska and Wisco all get selected ahead of Michigan for a bowl? (Although you throw in the alternative possibility of Michigan, your choice is still Wisco).
You obviously think MSU is going to win the B10 because they fared the best against mighty OSU so far. But,MSU has shown themselves to be a marginal team throughout the year. Why do you discount that?
Also, you think Nebraska will get selected ahead of Michigan? The same Nebraska team that has a horrid defense against which almost all of their opponents shines. If OSU fans think they have a great offense after putting up a lot of points on Nebraska in C-Bus, you need to look at how bad Nebraska's defense has been. Viruatlly every team exceeds their average offensive day against Nebraska. Southern Miss is 0-5 and the team they put the most points up on was Nebraska. Even Wisco, which has a poor poor offense this year put up 27 points on Nebraska.
So, what unit on the Michigan team is near as bad as Nebraska?
Your post is again underscored with your own Buckeye love.
I wish Michigan played such a crappy OOC, so that we could be so fool-hardy about the quality of our team......wait, not really.
BCS Championship: #1 Alabama 13-0 v. #2 Oregon 13-0
Rose Bowl: Michigan 11-2 v. Texas 11-1
Fiesta Bowl: West Virginia 12-0 v. Notre Dame 11-1
Sugar Bowl: Georgia 11-1 v. Clemson 11-1
Orange Bowl: FSU 12-1 v. Louisville 11-1

I looked at the NU v OSU stats for the first time today.
It seems they both moved the ball equally well. Shocking. It looked like more of a blowout on the scoreboard.
A slew of UNL turnovers tipped that game to OSU. Other than that, it was fairly even. Both teams have good offenses but no defense. They should move to the WAC.
Weird. Just like the Ill/UM game under RichRod.
I wonder how that will work out for them.
OSU with a soft defense that will be exposed by any good offense. Sad.
Good thing OSU won't have to worry about a good offense when playing Michigan.
Fear. You drip it.
Michigan has 2 wins in the past 11 years.
I fear Purdue more.
Denard only struggles against teams with good defenses. Fortunately, we won't have to worry about that this year in Columbus.
He does have a losing record against OSU afterall.
He's hungry though cause Hoke ate all his food.
You should fear Purdue. They've beaten you 2 out of the past 3 and 3 out of the past 6. And that was when you had a very good defense. Boiler Up!!!

Something Michigan can't even come close to claiming.
He hung 40 on you last year. And your defense was better. If Cal can put up 28 and UNL can put up 38, Denard might hang half a hundred on you this year. It definitely has the look of a game that could be over early.
That team that went 6-7 last year is much better than the one this year (defense included).
The game is also in C-bus. I just hope Denard doesn't get taken off on a stretcher.
He's a fragile little guy.
I doubt Denard gets hurt. I mean, the way your D misses tackles he might not hit the ground all day. And even if he gets a little dinged up, he'll have a whole month to get back in form for the Rose Bowl. The toughest remaining part of this season is going to be finding room in the case for another BCS Bowl trophy.
There should be plenty of room considering you only have two.
Presuming that Bama makes the title game is it wrong for me (as Oregon fan) to cross my fingers for the Rose?
Yes, but pefectly understandable. Remember that LSU defense that handled you fairly easily last year? Alabama's is better. Oh, and it comes attached to an offense very similar to Wisconsin's from last year except this one is bigger, faster and stocked full of 4 and 5 star talent. FWIW I feel similar about Oregon. If we make it to the Rose Bowl, I really pray you make it to the BCSCG.
I do think the Ducks could make it a game based on their D but the talent gap in the trenches is undeniable. A couple of forced Duck miscues and it's blow out time. The ugliest, stupidest game I could imagine as just a straight fan would be WVU v Bama though. It'd be interesting for about ten minutes.
